I subscribed for a year planning to read stories in Russian to my child. After a few months the content changed and all stories and tales disappeared, only basic vocab content left. Also lots of English content which I wish wasn’t there to distract my bilingual child. I’m a preschool teacher and I’m all for educational books but the books they replaced it with are mostly non-fiction. An early lover reading comes from love and great stories. The ugly duckling is one example. A classic story made terrible due to bad grammar and nonsensical plot points (a farmer kicking the duck, really?). There are some good ones in here, but a randomly chosen story is just as likely to provide a hard to read misadventure. I just cancelled because in my view this should be a moderated experience, instead it has turned into quantity over quality.
