## What is BookAI?

BookAI is a reading app with a built-in AI assistant that helps you understand what you're reading - without spoiling what comes next. The app features a growing library of publicly available books from Project Gutenberg.

Ask AI anything - select any text and tap "Ask AI" to ask a question about what you've read. The AI only sees the text up to your current position - it will never reveal what happens later in the story.

For example, you can ask the AI to:
Remind you who a character is and when they first appeared
Explain a difficult section in simpler words
Recap what has happened recently in the story
Clarify references, themes, or historical context

Three levels of context - choose how much surrounding text the AI sees when answering:
No context - general knowledge only
Short context - includes nearby text for specific questions
Long context - includes a larger portion of text for deeper questions

Free to start, upgrade for more - every user gets free questions to try. Upgrade to pro for higher limits that reset each billing period.
