If I have a group and all the clients are listed I can’t click on my client if they aren’t first to do notes so I have to leave my notes on the first client and specify it’s for my actual client. I hate that the week is zoomed in on Monday and doesn’t change it just sits there and you have to manually move over. Seems like it has a lot of glitching errors too. Today when I logged in every hour was in am even the pm and my client at 7pm was shown at 10am meaning pm. Had to close it out completely to fox it. No wonder my previous company ended up switching mango mint is a lot more user friendly and here I can’t edit my notes so if I don’t check for typos that’s it you’re stuck with it. It also doesn’t list my name so if I forget to say who my company won’t know who did the notes. Despicable and makes the devs seem really lazy about upkeep, updates and maintenance in all honesty ### 1/5 — Mobile app years of issues *2026-02-11, version 9.4.1* Not one to leave a review, but I feel people need to be forewarned for the mobile app. Years of issues, started using in 2018. Yes my iPhone is updated, yes I’m using the latest versions always. Glitches galore for me and coworkers who rely on being able efficiently to book remotely and take the load off of our Receptionist. Depending on the day, existing client appointments that have been booked and showing for weeks don’t appear, constant hang ups with the spinning gear in the center of the page for more than an hour or several hours at a time, overlay/overlapping of previous weeks appointments onto the current week, including putting a two week old already serviced Client on top of a brand new booking. Also having to call the salon and bother our already busy Receptionist with redundant questions of asking for our schedules over the phone since we can’t see them… it’s always something. numerous times our Receptionist calls to find out the confirmation of yes they are having issues. AGAIN.Someone has to be able to make a better app than this… ### 1/5 — Useless App *2025-10-21, version 9.3.0* I suggest you use other software, Booker/Mindbody only cares about pocketing your money and not creating useable features or fixing bugs. App is constantly unstable, slow and lacks many features that should be present. ### 1/5 — Warning to other business owners *2025-08-13, version 9.2.1* Be extremely careful before signing with Booker/Mindbody. Their automatic 12-month renewal contract feels like a trap — every time it renews, you’re locked in for another full year without a reasonable way out. I signed up thinking it would help my business, but instead: • The online booking system constantly had issues, and my clients regularly complained they couldn’t complete their bookings. • The price is high compared to the value, and the technical problems directly caused me to lose customers. • When I tried to leave, I discovered their strict renewal policy meant I was stuck paying for months I didn’t want. I’ve been running my business for years and have never experienced a system that made me feel this taken advantage of. Businesses deserve transparency, fair terms, and a service that actually works — unfortunately, I didn’t get that here. Think twice before committing — read the fine print, because once you’re in, they make it incredibly hard (and expensive) to leave. ### 1/5 — Terrible app. *2025-06-25, version 9.2.0* Would give 0 stars if I could. ### 1/5 — Don’t use booker!! *2025-03-28, version 9.1.1* This app is bogus. My partner and I have owned a barbershop now and have been using Booker for 5+ years. We are very disappointed in Booker. It is very glitchy. The schedule never synchs up. You have to refresh it all the time you can’t schedule your own appointments out of operation hours. Customer service is a joke. They constantly ask you for feedback yet they don’t make any changes or provide any solutions. We also had an app made and we’re paying $200 a month for that and it was glitchy at best. Customers had to sign in and out every single time there’s no option for Face ID or fingerprint for easy sign in. And then eventually, it just wasn’t in the App Store or the play store anymore…For almost the entire time we had it. It was not available to any of our customers that had android phones, even though they said it was and we were paying full price. We didn’t get reimbursed for anything we ended up having to cancel the whole service. Using Booker is my biggest regret. Or for the app to load my schedule instantly rather than minutes? Or to have calendar views that actually make sense? Why can’t I see more than a week ahead without having to go through that painful loading process for every week? Why doesn’t the calendar just snap into positions rather than acting like I’m flicking around a giant zoomed in photo of my calendar? Why aren’t there options for viewing the schedule as daily or monthly? I’ve been using the square mobile app for ages and it’s not awesome but it makes booker look like it was designed by a 10 year old. Just hot garbage all around. Stay away. Update: Nearly 1 year later and this app is actually worse. Not only is it as if they are running their server on a dialup connection, since the last “update” I can no longer search up past appointments. Clients that I’ve seen dozens of times still only show me one past appointment (if I’m lucky) even though it used to show me all of them. How is this company so inept at writing software?!
