## What is Bookie?

Track every book you love, save the quotes that move you, and watch your reading grow. Bookie is a calm, private reading journal for your iPhone. The books you want to read, the one on your nightstand, and every book you've finished, together in one beautiful library. No ads, no tracking, nothing to sign up for. Make yourself at home.

YOUR LIBRARY
• Three shelves for your reading life: Pending, Reading, and Read.
• Search by title, author, or both, preview any book, and add it to a shelf.
• Can't find a book? Add it yourself, with your own photo as the cover.
• Browse covers to find the edition you own.

YOUR READING JOURNAL
• Every book gets its own page, tinted with the colors of its cover.
• Bookie notes the day you start and finish each book, and tells you how long it took.
• Remember who recommended it, and write down what you thought.
• Make each book yours: edit the cover, dates, page count, and more.

YOUR QUOTES
• Scan a passage right off the page with your camera, or type it in.
• Keep the page number and your own thoughts beside every quote.
• Find any quote by its words, its book, or its author.

QUOTE CARDS
• Turn any quote into an image in three styles: Cover, Night, and Paper.
• Pick a size for wherever you share: Story (9:16), Square (1:1), or Landscape (16:9).
• Share it anywhere or save it to Photos.
• Cards show the quote and its book, never your notes.

READING STATS
• Books and pages finished, all time or year by year.
• Charts of the books you finish each year and each month.
• What you're reading now, and how long books wait on your pile.
• How long books take you, from the quickest to the slowest.
• Your most-read authors, genres, and languages, and whose recommendations you read most.
• Your longest and shortest books, the oldest and newest, and your most-quoted reads.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your books, quotes, and notes live on your iPhone and sync with your iCloud.
• Your library works offline.
• Export all your books and quotes as text, anytime.

BOOKIE PRO
Bookie is free for up to five books, with quotes, stats, and quote cards included. Bookie Pro adds:
• An unlimited library
• Quote cards without the Bookie footer
• Support for an independent reading app

The books and quotes you've saved always stay yours to open, edit, and export, with or without Pro.

### 5/5 — Does what it says, and it does it well!

*2021-10-26*

Love the app! It's great for those who use physical books as it’s much easier to track quotations with a fixed page number.

The database looks adequate, the layout of the app is quite functional, and the app itself is very smooth and allows editing of each and every saved value! Brilliant!

The app is free and free of in-app purchases but I wish there was a way we could support the creator.

Apart from that, one suggestion would be the addition of a tab where one could see weekly, or daily, or all-time statistics.

All in all, definitely recommended!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the awesome review arunwadhwa! 🙏 In the future I'll add a way to send me some money for those who wish to contribute with the development of the app.
