## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Shady

*2024-12-06*

The developer keeps on putting shady promotional messages. The pricing strategy is unclear — sometimes the lifetime is made free, but then he goes back on his commitment.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2024-12-04*

It says the lifetime price is zero, but it charges you after you download it.

### 1/5 — Constantly crashes

*2024-11-18*

I’ve downloaded the past two updates and right when I open this up this app constantly just crashes. Would love to use it, but don’t seem to be able to do that.

**Developer response:** I’m really sorry about the crashes! I’m working on fixing this issue. If you can, please email me at fitnessgym15@gmail.com for more discussion to help me understand the bug. Otherwise, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app—it will help. Thank you for your patience! 🙏

### 3/5 — Dime a Dozen

*2025-09-02*

When I think of a bookmarking app, I think of Raindrop as it, in my opinion, is the gold standard. While this app has a clean UI, it doesn’t have a browser extension and has to be used through the Apple share functions. This app also doesn’t offer a free trial and more or less suggest that you need to pay for premium for this to really work which is a bit nuts as every app that has a subscription model should offer a free trial for some period of time. This is a basic quick capture tool

**Developer response:** Hi,
thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

I’d like to clarify a couple of points that may help. The core features of PostPocket are free to use — you don’t need to subscribe right away. Instead, there’s a daily save limit that can be refreshed by explicitly choosing to watch an ad. In this sense, the free version works like a trial without time limits, so you can continue using the app indefinitely without payment if you’re okay with ads. Subscriptions are there for users who prefer an ad-free experience or want access to some extra features.

As for the browser extension, PostPocket was designed to keep everything on-device and private, without storing your data on external servers. That’s why the current workflow is built around the native iOS Share Extension. I understand that may feel limited compared to Raindrop, but it was a conscious tradeoff for privacy and simplicity.

I’m sorry the experience didn’t meet your expectations, and I really appreciate your feedback — it helps me shape what comes next.

### 3/5 — Not working quite as expected… But have high hopes.

*2025-04-25, version 2.0.2*

I just installed the app based on a recommendation from a friend. It claims you get five free saves without having to buy pro. However, I went into chrome and tried to save a website, and it said I reached my limit when it was the first thing I tried. I’ll talk with the dev and update my review if and when it gets sorted.

### 4/5 — Excellent app for bookmarking storage

*2025-04-25, version 2.0.2*

Love this app for bookmarking storage .

### 4/5 — Nice way to save important bookmarks locally

*2025-04-25, version 2.0.2*

I’ve been looking for a way to save important bookmarks locally and this app finally fills that void. Ty !

### 4/5 — Works well except on iPad

*2025-01-26, version 1.26*

This works well except when you try and open it in iPad. There it opens vertically which makes it worthless for any sort of workflow. Please fix!

### 4/5 — Allow iPad version to be used in Vision Pro

*2025-01-19, version 1.24*

Any chance you could turn this feature on? I’d like to use my iPhone links in APV

### 4/5 — Looks promising

*2024-12-10, version 1.15*

Changing my review after the developer clarified. Looks like a promising app

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2025-06-07, version 2.0.4*

I love this app, everything I have saved in one place. Very easy to use.

### 5/5 — Great Bookmarking/PKM App

*2025-04-25, version 2.0.2*

I used to have multiple apps managing my bookmarks and saved items but PostPocket has brought order to the chaos. The tagging system is intuitive, allowing me to categorize everything in a way that actually makes sense to me. It's become my central hub for all the interesting things I find online, ensuring I never lose track of valuable information again. If you're looking for a reliable and user-friendly bookmarking app, I highly recommend giving PostPocket a try. You won't be disappointed!

### 5/5 — Great app to bookmark news articles, websites and YouTube videos

*2025-02-19, version 2.0.0*

This app is great! With it I am able to save links to just about anything that is sharable in iMessage like news articles from the News App and YouTube videos. I work in the tech field and I normally save articles and videos to keep me up to date and also to educate myself on new fixes, features and issues to better help me in my field. This app helps me categorize my links into easy to see Categories and even add Tags for Subcategories.

The UI is easy to use with one exception: you are not able to search your posts on the main screen. You have to go into the individual categories and search from there. Also I have not found a way to search by tags as I use the same tags across categories. It would be nice to be able to pull up post by that. And as of this review it does not support Dark Mode and only Apple devices like the iDevices and Macs. But the app is constantly being revised and you have the ability to suggest features to be considered in future updates.

This app has definitely replaced my previous goto method of just sending things to myself through iMessage.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2025-02-18, version 2.0.0*

Productive

### 5/5 — Great App for Organization!

*2025-02-07, version 1.30*

Been using this for a few weeks and it works really well and I love the interface. Great way to keep links organized! Recommend!

### 5/5 — Finally a quick way to grab and tag nearly anything

*2025-01-18, version 1.24*

I’m always in MacHash saving key articles by jumping to Safari, then bookmarking. Like 3 steps. Now PostPocket it’s one touch storage and cataloging with tags to pull it up 3 years later. Life time cost for this brain support $9 bucks. CHEAP.

### 5/5 — I use it a lot

*2025-01-10, version 1.23*

Helps me save and organize into categories any social media posts to see them later. I love it

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2024-12-26*

I discovered this nice app on Indie App Santa and decided to give it a try. I was instantly hooked and paid for it. It's a really well-done app

### 5/5 — Potential

*2024-12-06, version 1.15*

I suggest the following: It would be good to have in-app reading capability, offer a clean reading mode, provide a feature to summarize key points, and it would be even better if there was genuine AI-powered natural voice reading.
