However, the app faces challenges related to service quality consistency, customer support responsiveness, and pricing transparency. ### 5/5 — Review *2023-12-07* Excellent app The platform displayed all maids based on proximity to my residence, organized by profiles containing essential information such as details, photos, and work experience. After reaching out and conducting interviews with a few candidates, we found the process to be seamless and more cost-effective compared to engaging a traditional agency, with the added benefit of acquiring excellent services. ### 1/5 — National consumer helpline did the trick *2023-10-21* Like everyone else I also faced the issue of not getting refund when I denied to use the service. The company’s contact forum is of no use I did not get any response so far. The agent kept saying that he/she will initiate the payment soon but did not for a week. After I told her/him that I’ll register a complaint if I don’t get an update on the refund the same day. I called 1915 (national consumer helpline) and while I was on the call I told BookMyBai agent that I’m filing a complaint right now. Did I not only get the mail of refund initiation but it got credited while I was registering the complaint. ✌🏻only posting this review here so that if anyone face such issue, which many people already have, you know what to do!! ### 1/5 — Thiefs who need to be arrested for running a shell company and stealing money *2023-03-25* They took 1000 first and then 7000 from my aunt who is a retired senior citizen by promising to help her hire a maid. One lady visited my aunty pretending to be a maid and then the company took the commission money of 7000 after that the lady is absconding and these crooks are making my aunt go around in circles and they conveniently have told her that there is no refund policy according to their invoice. If anyone has lost money in Bangalore go to their office in Wilson Garden opposite to Bharati hotel. They are just a bunch of crooks working out of that office. All their investment companies are fake and have been closed. It’s only a matter of time before these guys get arrested for fraud. Shameless scavengers stealing from an elderly pensioner. ### 1/5 — Is there an option to give zero stars *2023-03-23* There is one amazing feature in this app that no other app in the world has. Very boldly this app asks “where would you like to hire a maid/bai?”. I selected Bangalore BECAUSE THAT’S WHERE I LIVE. Next page they showed listing of all the workers. First worker was available in Lucknow, 2nd Mumbai, 3rd Bihar, etc. Good job guys building this app. I am living in Bangalore and I will hire a cook in Bihar because that’s what a customer should do. You guys are intelligent. But still look at the bright side, I gave you 1 star. You must be happy now. Kudos to the app developers, testers, etc. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No customer service *2026-08-14* Their agent whatsapp us and says that app is of no use so we should reach out to them for hiring a helper.. And app says that if we want to contact helpers we need to take subscription.. if you take subscription the contact numbers are false and no customer service where you can reach out.. and they say they are serving customers globally.. first serve your country’s customer properly then go globally or else u will be sued one day. ### 1/5 — Fraud *2026-07-03* Fraud fraud fraud. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Book My Bai. They confirmed that they would provide me with a cook/chef and collected ₹18,000 from me. They also charged me an additional ₹1,000 through their app. Despite taking my money, they never sent any cook and completely failed to meet the promised timeline. To make matters worse, their representatives stopped answering my calls. Their agent, Lubna, has completely ignored my calls and messages after taking the payment. There has been no support, no updates, and no resolution from their side. Their service is absolutely pathetic and among the worst I have ever experienced. This feels like a scam, where customers are charged money but the promised service is never delivered. I strongly advise everyone not to book a maid or cook through Book My Bai. Save your money and avoid the stress of dealing with such an unprofessional and unreliable company. Worst & Pathetic ### 1/5 — Scam alert *2026-06-20* I have taken a subscription for 1 month. Called almost 10 or more maids for work. Only 2-3 responds. And all of them have alredy jobs . Atleast this app should make that changes first before putting any maids profile available for job . Its litreally waste of time . Dont buy the subscription litreally dont buy its not even worth the money neither your time at the end you will be more frustrated becuase neither you get bai nor your money back. ### 1/5 — Please do not us this service *2026-05-04* They’re very unprofessional. No training to their recruits. They’re very irresponsible. Managing team is very slow. I faced an emergency relating to bai already working in my house, team did not respond in time. They take more than 3weeks for replacement of bai, whereas their managers throw attitude that we handle more then 100bais a day, then why do you take 3weeks n more to replace a bai? on asking for compensation of loss their murkh team is not ready to accept their mistakes. Please look for better service who take responsibility after charging you bomb amount ### 1/5 — Scammers *2026-02-26* I made the first payment through the website, I got a mgs to download the app on WhatsApp, after downloading the app I could not access the subscription and it again asked me to make another payment through the app as per the instructions. Now they are refusing to refund me the payment stating because I paid through the app I will not get a refund as per the process. I am out of 2000rs because of this. I have all the screenshots and recordings to prove. ### 1/5 — Within one month 6 Bhais came and went no refund *2026-01-26* I wanted to hire full time maid and I contacted this ppl for professional service but they don’t have any they don’t even do police verification, which I came to know after one bai was onboard. After 2-3 days maids don’t come and then they send someone else. This continued for 1 month u till I didn’t allow anymore bai’s after that I asked for refund but didn’t received. When I told her I will do police complain Miss Mittal gave me credit not but when o wanted to utilise it they don’t reply. ### 1/5 — Fraud Company *2025-04-14* Very unprofessional, unethical people, we hired full-time (24/7) maid from them, after working for almost 2 months, he ran away, left us dry, as we have asked our existing maid to leave, and see the audacity he comes back and expects 4 days' salary. we understand if someone doesn't want to work, he should have give some notice, so we can arrange someone, without notice if just run away and come after 2 days for the 4 days salary and agency support the same, and make the condition to pay the salary first then we will give the replacements. 4 days salary is not important, how agency supporting his behaviour is bothering us, we will never recommend and trust this agency and his people, what kind of background checks they do. ### 1/5 — Bookmybai team is fraud *2025-02-07* They are only after your money! Pavithra, Varsha, Saba, Sheefa and others are trained to get money from you on mobile phone call or through WhatsApp. Once you pay the amount it’s gone forever; They will never refund your money! Trust your neighbourhood to get maid instead of this bookmybai app or website. You see most of the positive reviews were posted on same day for this app on AppStore. I believe those are paid fake reviews. This is fraud company. ### 1/5 — You get nothing here. *2024-04-16* Bookmybai, more like, pay subscription and get no bai service. They are basically providing you with an excel sheet of maids that we have to make calls to. Well, BMB can just use Google drive and we all customers can access to that. No accountability from the service provider to give well vetted maid options. It’s just a random repository of maids (outdated mostly) and none of whom have the right address or the chosen few don’t even turn up. Overall highly disappointed. ### 1/5 — I wish there was a zero star option *2024-04-02* Please please please don’t download the app and don’t get pulled into their fake services scam. The agent will first give you options that actually are not available and correct, they put up a good act of them coming to your home to check about the services and then they don’t come all while switching off phones or not responding .. all this is done after you make the payment to the agency and it’s not cheap .. they charge me Rs 5900 for a cook … so pls stay away from this scam and try to look for people in your area who you know and trust . ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Amazing App *2026-07-18* Finding a reliable maid used to be very difficult, but this app made the process much easier.
