The formalities was taken care of well. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad Experience with BookMyForex for Small Transaction *2026-05-07* After submitting my request along with all the required documents, there was no communication or update from the team. The app continued to show my documents as “pending.” When I contacted customer service the first time, the executive assured me that they had received all documents and that the status would be updated shortly. However, after waiting 24 hours and calling again, a different executive asked for an additional document. By then, I had already lost confidence in the process and decided to exchange the currency directly at Chennai Airport. The experience was disappointing, especially for a simple and small transaction. ### 1/5 — Fraud *2026-03-25, version 11.4* Did not complete the order and did not return the deposit. No response for emails. ### 1/5 — Not safe *2026-02-25, version 11.2* I had requested them about suspicious activity on my card but they said we can’t do anything and now i had some fraud transactions and somebody is continuously attempting fraud transaction. Worst service, their license should be revoked. ### 1/5 — Absolute Scam *2026-01-21, version 11.0* This fraudsters took money from me for a wire transfer and have not deposited it to the receiver in 2 weeks. It has been an absolute nightmare doing business with these people. Their wire transfer agents are never available on calls and the customer service team just gives false hopes of arranging a call back which never happens. I really regret choosing bookmyforex and would never recommend this stupid forex company to anyone. (I’m still waiting for my money to be sent.) Shame on this company, these are the kind of people because of whom India is seen as a fraudulent country abroad. ### 1/5 — Pathetic Service *2025-11-14, version 9.6* Their management is so messed up that even reloading your card requires you to mail them numerous times (despite having made the payment) to proceed with the payment. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. ### 1/5 — Terrible Experience- single currency card *2025-10-09, version 9.4* I tried their single currency card, which lets you store USD and promises 0% conversion fees. I was excited and thought it would be perfect for me. But when I used it for the first time at Tesco, my transaction was declined. I tried again, and it failed again. When I got home, I saw that both transactions had actually gone through, even though they were shown as failed at the store. I immediately emailed support, and they sent me a form to fill out. I explained that I’m a student and don’t have time to deal with this kind of paperwork. Now they’ve stopped responding, and around ₹2000 is stuck. I don’t think I’ll ever get it back. On top of that, it takes 4 days just to transfer money to the card. Horrible experience overall. I regret buying this card — don’t even think about getting it! ### 1/5 — Worst forex transfer app ever *2025-09-03, version 9.3* Do not use this app under any circumstances, they don’t even have a working support team number, they just outsource it to other remittance agencies and you’d be stuck waiting for the transaction to complete. ### 1/5 — If u hav leisure time and want your BP Should spike up this is the place *2025-08-19, version 9.3* It better to go back to ur country and take the money but dnt ever think to use this app mostly ur money will be struck and den u just waste lot more money to call them but wat u listened is more funny will call u in some time ### 1/5 — Did not complete the order and stole deposit *2025-07-21, version 9.3* Did not complete the order and did not return the deposit. Avoid at all posts. ### 1/5 — Terrible customer support *2025-04-25, version 9.3* The team promises to deliver the card either in 1 day and expects us to sit at home leaving everything behind to collect the card. I still haven’t received the card and on top of that, the customer rep tells me that there is a delivery issue and that the card will be delivered after 2 days! You have wasted an entire day of mine and kept me hanging till the last minute before my travel that I do not have another option.
