## What is Bookrest?

Bookrest is a native audiobook player for Audiobookshelf, the self-hosted audiobook server.

Sign in to your own server and your whole library is there — on iPhone, iPad, Mac and in the car. There is no Bookrest account and no Bookrest cloud: your books, your progress and your login stay between your device and your server.

LISTEN YOUR WAY
• Stream straight from your server, or download books for offline listening
• Downloads carry on in the background
• Chapter navigation, skip controls and adjustable playback speed
• Sleep timer

PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
• Listening progress syncs with your server
• Switch between phone, tablet, Mac and the Audiobookshelf web app without losing your place

EVERYWHERE YOU LISTEN
• CarPlay
• Lock Screen and Control Centre controls with cover art
• Designed for iPhone, iPad and Mac

MADE TO FEEL AT HOME
• Optional immersive theme that takes its colours from the cover you're playing
• Works with servers over HTTPS or on your home network

Bookrest requires an Audiobookshelf server you can sign in to. Learn more at audiobookshelf.org.

Bookrest is an independent app and is not affiliated with the Audiobookshelf project.
