## What is Books and Vocab?

Stop pausing every page to look up words in the dictionary.

Ever pick up an exciting novel or classic only to get derailed by unfamiliar vocabulary? Constant interruptions break your immersion and turn reading into a chore.

Books & Vocab changes that. Instead of stopping mid-sentence, learn the rarest, most challenging words from your exact book in chronological order before you even begin.

50 WORDS. 10 MINUTES. 10X READING FLOW.
Spend 10 minutes reviewing a curated vocabulary deck before cracking open your chapter. When those words appear on the page, your brain glides right past them.

KEY FEATURES:

• BOOK-SPECIFIC VOCABULARY DECKS
Browse our expanding library of classics, modern bestsellers, and fantasy epics. Every deck contains rare, book-specific vocabulary extracted in reading order.

• VISUAL FLASHCARDS & MNEMONICS
Dry dictionary definitions don’t stick. Books & Vocab pairs words with vivid visual illustrations, authentic context sentences from the text, audio pronunciations, and clever memory hooks (mnemonics).

• CAMERA SCANNER (PAGE OCR)
Reading a physical paperback or hardcover? Snap a photo of any page with the built-in scanner. The app instantly identifies unfamiliar words on the page and jumps straight to their flashcards.

• REQUEST ANY BOOK
Planning to read something not yet in our database? Search millions of books via Open Library or submit a custom title and ISBN. We’ll analyze the text and generate a dedicated vocabulary deck for you.

• INTUITIVE FLASHCARD LEARNING
- Track your mastery: Mark words as "Mastered" or "Favorite".
- Spaced repetition counter: Track how many times you’ve encountered each word.
- Smart filters: Filter by letter, book order, frequency, or search directly.
- Flip to reveal: Tap to inspect contextual sentences and full definitions.

• READ IN FLOW
Build a lifelong, sophisticated vocabulary naturally as you read—without second-guessing or abandoning books.
