## What is Books?

Book Hut is a reader and audiobook player for the library you already own.

CONNECT YOUR SERVER
Sign in to your Audiobookshelf or Jellyfin server and your books, progress, and bookmarks stay in sync across devices. Your library stays yours — Book Hut talks only to the server you point it at.

START WITH NOTHING
No server? Browse thousands of free public-domain audiobooks from LibriVox and start listening immediately.

READ AND LISTEN
Open EPUBs with adjustable typography, themes, and full offline reading. Have any book read aloud with on-device text-to-speech, complete with lock-screen and headphone controls.

PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
Move between the ebook and the audiobook and your place comes with you. On iPhone models running iOS 26, a downloaded book that has both can be matched sentence by sentence, so the switch lands on the line you actually stopped at. The matching is done on your device.

WHAT DID I MISS?
Coming back to a book after a few weeks, ask for a short recap of the part you already heard. On iPhone models with Apple Intelligence running iOS 26, it is written on the device, from your own book.

MARK THE GOOD PARTS
Bookmark a moment and write a note on it in your own words.

BUILT FOR OFFLINE
Download books for the plane, the subway, or the trail. Playback position survives everything and syncs back when you reconnect.

ON YOUR WRIST
Apple Watch downloads books from your server itself over Wi-Fi, so you can leave your phone at home. When the watch cannot reach the server, your phone sends the book across instead. Widgets keep your current book one tap away.

SEE YOUR READING
Listening and reading time by day and by book, with streaks. The numbers stay on your device.

MADE TO BE USABLE
A full VoiceOver pass, Dynamic Type everywhere, and ten languages.

Book Hut collects no personal data and contains no ads, tracking, or subscriptions.
