It has so many incredible free books that kids love. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — 😢 *2025-04-28* I have been using worldreader from my Facebook under free basis my whole life…ever since I was a kid I have been using worldreader..almost my whole life but one day..I was about to go read as usual and i found out that it has closed…they recommended “booksmart” Since then I have been trying to access booksmart but it’s not opening 🥹 I have been trying for more than 2 years now but it’s not opening 😭 Wordreader was my best friend… It was that one app I can’t just do without🥹… But it’s fine.. Pls developer…work on the booksmart cause it seems like it’s not active🥺 Thankyou❤️ **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that BookSmart is not opening after downloading. Great idea and I do appreciate that they are free, but the book choices are terrible. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! As an NGO, our access to books is a bit different from that of a public library, and we also need to follow certain region-specific guidelines. But the mystery genre (AKA my favorite genre) is limited. But you have to login to use some of the features. It’s free and has no ads at all! But I’m not sure if it needs Wi-fi. Overall, It great as heck! I recommend this app. It’s a 9.5/10. 100% Wonderful. It’s family friendly, and very addicting. This might become my most used app. ### 4/5 — Please add audio. *2025-10-06* I wanted to love this app because of the sheer amount and quality of the books but the problem I’m having as a blind and autistic user as there’s no audio. There’s no sound anywhere for these books. That being said, the quality of the BookSmart collection really surprised me and I found the activities that accompany the books to be simple (no supplies needed!) and enjoyed by both mom and child.
