The starter pack helped my son learn about volcanos and planets at the age of 2. Now that he is starting to read, he wants to read those books. But, the previously purchased starter pack doesn't appear on the shelf after a "successful install". Tried to reinstall books after update fix today Just spins....what now? ### 5/5 — Fantastic App *2012-09-17* I have recently stumbled across Booksy when looking for apps to help to teach my 4 years old son to read. After reading the first book about humpback whales which my four year old absolutely loves we decided to download more of the books and now have almost all of the books available as we absolutely love them. Not only are they great for helping them to learn to read, they are all also really educational with books covering some fantastic topics such as the solar system, volcanoes, insects, animals to name a few. In addition to the educational books there are also fictional books as well and I am currently reading some of the more basic reading books with my 2 year old who loves touching the words to hear them read aloud. At the end of the educational books there is also a short quiz which I thought was fantastic as you do sometimes wonder how much your child has taken in, but this way you can check what they have learnt and understood. We absolutely love this app and my four year old is constantly asking me to download more books. At the equivalent of about 60pence each I think they are fantastic value for money. Overall I think this is one of the best apps available for learning to read and from an educational prospective.
