## What is BookSync?

Reading is better together. BookSync turns any book into a shared experience: start a room, invite people, and read at the same time without losing your own pace.

READ TOGETHER, YOUR WAY
Create a room for any book in your library and invite friends with a link or QR code. Everyone's progress shows up on one shared bar, so you can see who's a chapter ahead and who's stopped to reread a page. Follow whoever's leading, or read at your own speed, the lead can be handed off mid-session, so no one has to wait on one person.

ONE LIBRARY, EVERY FORMAT
Bring your own books. BookSync opens PDF, EPUB, MOBI, AZW/AZW3, TXT, and Markdown files, all in one clean library, no conversion required.

A READER BUILT FOR LONG SESSIONS
- Day, sepia, and night themes that recolor the whole page, not just the background
- Adjustable type built on a variable font, so every weight is available, not just a few presets
- Highlight passages in named colors, add notes (even in voice), and drop bookmarks
- Full-text search within a book
- Smooth text selection and a selection toolbar for quick copying and highlighting

START IN SECONDS
There's no email, password, or account screen. Open the app, pick a name so your group knows who you are, and start reading. Your device already holds a private account behind the scenes, nothing to set up, nothing to remember.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CALL
Delete your library or your entire account at any time, and watch it actually happen, BookSync shows real erasure progress instead of a spinner and a promise. Lost your device? Recover your identity with a simple code.

BookSync is for book clubs, couples reading together, classrooms, or two friends who just started the same novel and want to talk about it as they go.
