## What is BookTime?

BookTime is specially created for friends who love to read paper books. It is your quiet reading timing companion. You can use it to urge yourself to complete daily reading and check in, and keep track of your reading situation.

A reading timer specially designed for scholars.
To be a quiet reader, there are three steps in total: 1. Set goals·Add books 2. Turn your phone horizontally·Start timing(Tap on book cover in iPad)3. Keep reading·Achieve your goals.
This App is very pure, no need to log in, no social networking, even if it is a network function, it is only for iCloud backup data. Everything is just for you to return to the most essential reading.
When the phone is horizontal, start the timer. Once you pick up the phone to play other apps, the timer will stop automatically. Urge you to concentrate on reading with no distractions.

换了手机的话数据会通过iCloud同步到新手机软件上？再下载还需要付费不？

我算是首批用户了，刚出就买了支持up，现在有两个问题希望改进：
1. 耗电大，计时7分钟掉电4%，手机为16plus。是否可以不刷新秒数。
2. 我可能不常用它记录读书，但是想用它记录自己买了哪些书，AI扫描导入挺好的，就是文件有点大，导入8本书占用13.5M，是否可以压缩一下封面图片再存储，导入上百本书太站iCloud空间了（没开会员）😅

在B站看到UP主介绍的软件，当时就觉得很适合自己，用了一段时间很喜欢，不过当前确实有个问题，就是无法同步问题，可以导入但无法做到iPhone跟iPad之间同步，我看到有个用户在评论也说到了这个问题，希望什么时候可以修复下

ipad端息屏或者后台运行经常重置时间。
建议把重置时间的bug弄好，毕竟ipad上看电子书也需要记录时间。
看书看了半天，回头一看app已读45秒，瞬间懵了……

**Developer response:** 应该是我说明没说清楚。这个APP必须是强制在前台才会计时的。所以如果在iPad上给阅读电子书记录阅读时间，需要用iPad的分屏功能，一边开电子书，一边开这个App。当然，我也觉得这种用法不是最优的。未来应该会用外置播放视频的API，把BookTime做成浮动在阅读器边缘的，尽最大程度不影响读书的体验。但是不管怎样，这个App是无法在后端静默运行的。因为只有这样，才能防止用户无意中计时，比如打游戏去了，计时器还在走，这样肯定不合适。算是一种取舍吧，希望您理解。
