## What is Booktoise?

Booktoise turns your reading time into something you can watch grow.

Start a timer when you open your book, stop it when you're done - that's it. No account, no automatic tracking, no judgment. Just you, your books, and a small turtle that grows a little every time you read.

WATCH YOUR TURTLE GROW
Your turtle moves through five life stages - from a tiny egg to a wise elder - based on how much time you've spent reading, ever. No streaks to keep, no days to lose. Every minute you read counts forever, so a slow week never sets you back.

A GENTLE HABIT, NOT A CHORE
Booktoise doesn't guilt-trip you. Miss a day? Your turtle just waits patiently. One optional daily reminder, no pressure, no red numbers.

EARN BUBBLES, DRESS YOUR TURTLE
Every minute of reading earns bubbles. Spend them in the shop on cozy accessories - a tiny book, a coffee cup, a flower crown, a dress - to make your turtle feel like yours.

Booktoise doesn't log your books for you and doesn't need an account. Your reading data stays on your device — the only thing that ever leaves it is an anonymous purchase record if you subscribe. It's just a quiet companion for a habit worth keeping.
