## What is BookZEN?

Your books, on a shelf that is truly yours — and a calm reason to read tonight.

BookZEN is a virtual bookshelf, book tracker and reading journal for people who love real books. Your shelf looks like the one at home: your editions, with their real covers and spines, in the order you choose, in a room you style yourself. A quiet reading timer, a reading log and gentle goals turn your TBR into books you actually finish — no pressure, no feed, no account.

Made for readers of romantasy, fantasy, thrillers, YA and the classics — on paper, on an e-reader or in your ears.

ADDING A BOOK TAKES SECONDS
• Point your camera at the barcode — or simply at the title on the cover
• Bring your whole Goodreads library with you
• Many books arrive already looking like your edition

A SHELF THAT IS REALLY YOURS
• Turn a book in front of the camera once, and your copy is on the shelf: its cover, spine, page edges — sprayed edges too — and back
• Every book at its true height and thickness
• Stand books upright, stack them or turn them face-out
• Style every shelf: wood, rooms, lighting, seasons and cosy decorations
• A series stands together in order — the next volume is right there to add, or to wish for
• A shelf you will want to show off

NEVER LOSE YOUR PLACE
• Set a book aside and come back weeks later: pick up at the right page, or start over
• One reading log for paper books, ebooks and audiobooks
• Your reading week at a glance
• See how much time is left in the book you are reading
• Missed a day? Add it later
• Keep the lines you love, in seconds

A CALM READING HABIT
• A gentle reading timer — start when you sit down, pause for the kettle
• Set the mood: rain, a crackling fire, a café or a forest
• Daily reading minutes and a yearly reading challenge that fit your life
• Streaks, milestones and little keepsakes to collect along the way
• Promise yourself a reward for finishing the challenge — and let BookZEN hold you to it
• Gentle reminders at your reading hour, never on days you have already read

A WISHLIST THAT MAKES GIFTS EASY
• Every book you want to read next, in one place
• Share your wishlist before a birthday — friends get exactly the right edition
• Share any book as a beautiful card, and your month or year in reading too

READ AND LISTEN, ALL IN ONE PLACE
• Your own ebooks (EPUB) and audiobooks, right on your shelf
• Let a book be read aloud when your hands are busy
• Free classics, a tap away

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
• A bookshelf widget and a widget for the book you are reading
• Your reading timer on the lock screen

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no sign-in, no social feed. Your library, notes and reading log stay yours.
