Really enjoy it but the game is getting too gimmicky and complicated. Over the past while they have made the game too complex, with too many tasks and special features. On attacks, I’m up against things that I don’t have as my available options. Nightly attacks on island bases on my map that weren’t there before the attacks and destruction giving me no chance at capturing them. ### 2/5 — Impossible to Progress *2026-08-18, version 62.100* Gaining resources in this game is exceedingly difficult and they are far too easy to lose. Even if you wanted to spend all day playing, it still wouldn’t be enough to make progress. So it must have something. It’s a fun little game where you can defend and attack basses. The only downside is on iPhone the latest upgrades have made some things hard. You can watch adverts for extra gems, well no more, you watch adverts and screen freezes at the end, only way out is to reset the game. Also when watch blackguard attacks on your base at x4 speed the game can freeze and again you need a hard reset. The watching ads for Gems not working is frustrating. ### 4/5 — HQ *2026-08-18, version 62.100* game is cool and all but i’m on a fresh account having to go up against people who are 4x my level. ### 2/5 — Boom Beach is glitching regularly *2026-08-18, version 62.97* For a couple weeks, any the majority of rewards for watching advertisements ( mostly the packets of two advertisements) close prematurely or just don’t pay out. This happens mostly with adds that start with O’ Riley auto parts and Big-O tires. Clicking on the treasure chest when it’s on the beach also closes prematurely and doesn’t pay out. I’ve reclick four times in a row and it repeatedly fails. Today, many hours apart, during the defense even, fourth attack the attack freezes just before the invader succeeds. The game is active but time stops and action is frozen. There are some serious glitches, or advertisers are scamming the company to cheap players who watch the adds but don’t pay-off. ### 3/5 — Do something about warships. *2026-08-17, version 62.97* You need to automatically give us tokens when we don’t remember when to play this game or whatever. And you need to ban some dam players already. I can’t be deprived of getting the gold tier rank in warships. Especially when your game unfairly matches me with the wrong people. At first I was hooked, I really enjoyed this game. In their efforts to make more money, they’ve changed the game, making it more expensive to play and harder achieve and advance in the game.
