## What is BoomerangDelivery?

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.2.9 — 2026-09-24

RETURNING CUSTOMERS

• Enter a phone number you have delivered to before and the order fills itself in
from that customer's most recent order: name, street, apartment, floor,
entrance, and any note for the courier.
• Only empty fields are filled — anything you have already typed is left alone.
A "Returning customer" card shows how many previous orders there are and when
the last one was, with one tap to undo it or to fill everything.
• Each business only ever recognises its own customers.

ORDER READY

• An order is now marked ready automatically when its timer runs out, or earlier
if you swipe to mark it ready yourself.
• If the time runs out without a swipe, the order shows "Ready for collection
from HH:MM". After a swipe it shows the exact time you marked it.
• The home screen shows "Order ready · waiting for collection" for orders that
  are still with you.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

• An order can now only be cancelled while it is still being prepared. Once a
courier has been assigned, the cancel button is replaced by a locked
"Assigned to courier" label — to cancel after that point, contact dispatch.
• The rule is enforced on the server as well as on screen, so a cancellation
can't slip through from a screen that hasn't refreshed yet.

ADDRESSES

• Fixed a serious address problem. Hebrew abbreviations typed with different
quote marks, or with none at all, could place a delivery on a same-named
street in an entirely different city. Addresses are now matched across
spellings, scored for confidence, and confined to the delivery area.

ALSO IN THIS RELEASE

• Clearer wording when a permission isn't available, with a direct link to
  Settings.
