Its a great app that has had many updates since first developed so check it out and make take time to understand the use case for this app. Its for part of your tasks on the go. Not for accessing every aspect of the CRM. Actual Agents please give an honest review of the app here so the older outdated knee jerk reviews perish so others are not discouraged from using the app. Too much misinformation or lack of clarity when it comes to CRMs. Thanks! Creating marketing campaigns using the Canva app, Facebook/instagram Ads using the FB Ad Manager app, Email, responding to Texts and calls using the Google Voice app, writing offers on TransactionDesk in Safari, logging client details in my client files in the OneDrive app, etc etc etc... BUT if I want to use the BoomTown mobile app it’s only available on the small screen on my phone. Do the right thing and make it iPad compatible already! ### 1/5 — Buggy and Not Efficient! *2018-09-28* Ive done my best to give this app a chance and make it work, but I’m officially done with it. I love the BoomTown platform, however, this App is a TERRIBLE representation of the rest of the platform. It’s marketed as a quick way to make calls and prospect, yet it’s extremely limited in how you can chop up your database. If this app is supposed to help make it easier to prospect for business, than I should be able to go into the app and chop my database up how I would like it and use the quick functionality of the app to plow through as many dials as I can. Instead, I am limited in my options to either my To-Do’s, some insights, and limited sorting options. Also, it’s constantly freezing and I am having to restart. In an industry where every SECOND counts, I’d rather spend more time trying to build my pipeline and business than wondering if an app will freeze. Again, I love BoomTown and I’m really disappointed that this App isn’t more. **Developer response:** Hi Stephen, thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback. It should not require multiple attempts just to get to the fingerprint to open or to respond to a shark tank call. I find it time consuming and annoying. Further it’s constantly asking me to try or learn more about shark tank, which I already use, and it will not allow me to skip or move forward. I have to close out of app and start over. Several times it just freezes. This app could be far better with some tweaking, but today, not a huge fan. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback! Yes it doesn’t allow a lot of what I do on the actual website but it was enough to keep me informed on new leads and remind me what I needed to get done. There was an update and now it takes a good 5-10 mins to log in. Once I am logged in (which I used to just stay logged in) it doesn’t update real time. I would log a call on the website and the app would 15 mins later make note of it when it used to be simultaneous. ### 3/5 — Freezing constantly *2022-02-23* I really enjoy this app as my crm in real estate, however, I have to open the app 3 times each time I need to use it. The first time it loads everything like normal but then freezes. The second time it’s just the orange welcome screen, and then closes out. The third time (usually) it loads all the way and works properly. This isn’t just once a day but literally every time I attempt to use the app after it sits for more than 30 sec with no activity. I don’t have a dated phone and the app is up to date. Can we get this fixed please? ### 3/5 — Lots of areas for improvement *2019-06-03, version 3.7.0* This app *almost* gets it right at virtually every turn.. but it has syncing issues, cant merge duplicate contacts, no way to create email templates (what??), certain design features are not intuitive. Hoping they read feedback and make needed adjustments.
