It is easy to use which is a bonus. Zooming in worked for a while and then stopped working for some reason. I have tried turning my phone on and off, deleting the app and reloading, making sure my filters are applied but all my filters won’t show up! I have pushed and read about every button but still can’t get my filters to show on the map. Have the developers given up on this app? ### 5/5 — Best App for Me *2023-05-23, version 2.7.74* The Boon Docking app has worked well for me to the point where it is the only one I trust. I have used it from East coast home to Washington State both middle and northern routes. I have also used it from home to Las Vegas with camping for two weeks in New Mexico and Arizona on the way and returning via Colorado all the way to PA. Everything was great. Now there’s no dispersed locations. Just Walmart and truck stops. Even the ones I pinned. I am an admin for a Boondocking group and promoted this app often. Unfortunately, I’m just going to delete it. ### 1/5 — Interrupts me to beg for a review. *2023-09-14, version 2.7.74* My standard policy is to award one star to any app that interrupts mine to beg for a review. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Quiet and Simple *2026-05-27, version 2.8.5* This is a quiet place approximately seven miles west and north from Bethany, Missouri. There are only four camping spots- gravel spots for campers or the grass for tents. There are no facilities or electricity of any kind. It’s a hard packed gravel of about 1/4 mile, so I was able to ride my motorcycle in and park without any trouble. In the distance, you can sometimes hear traffic on the road, but overall it’s just crickets and birds. There’s a stream nearby, and there are rules for fishing posted on the bulletin board. The site is well kept and clean, and one of the fire rings had a stack of wood. It’s a pleasant surprise. I was caught between suicide and mental illness after being attacked camping using another app for pay camp sites. I found this app and perfected the art of boondocking and have found myself and some of the best kept secret beautiful spots that are left in America.
