Hence you've lost yourself a user ### 3/5 — Payflex Boost not available *2024-04-18, version 6.48.0* I got multiple notifications on the feature but whenever I try to apply I always encounter this error ‘There was a problem, please try again’. I also contacted customer support via Whatsapp but he recommended to try again later. I have tried the feature since last year but the issue still the same. As I find it pretty much easy to locate the merchant that offers this app. I have started to pay my bills using their app. I even paid for their Boost Beyond Card to enjoy every single thing they offered in the app. Unfortunately, I can’t apply for the PayFlex that is main feature of the card. I have tried thousands of times but still came out as an error. I reached out to them via email, Facebook messenger, for the past couple of weeks, no solution provided. Always mentioned my case is still investigating. I got fed up and frustrated. Their CS are so incompetent. Was thinking to just get rid of this app. Wasting my time. ### 1/5 — No refund (will boikot the apps) *2023-11-07, version 6.34.0* i have no idea why this apps can still manage. i been follow up my refundable but stiil not settle almost 2 month. I’m really dispointed about this coz almost RM100 is gone & as a B40 i really says is not worth it to use this apps. last follow up says that the refund already made via my bank account but when I’ll ask how get my bank account.. they keep on ask to check but till now no refundable. Yesterday i’ll ask again but no answer… please don’t make fool with users👿.. if already transfer thru bank account pls prove it.. ### 1/5 — Bad Customer Service Support *2023-03-21, version 6.17.0* All the while i was using ewallet for my transactions and boost the most frequent app that I'm using and convenience with. Recent cases I had an issue whereby my transaction on the app was success and from the was failed. Then i sent an email to check on the transaction status. From what I experienced, it’s really realy BAD SERVICE I EVER HAD when complaining something. How they handled was first day complaint 1 customer support will entertain you and raise a complaint ticket, then no action taken. The next day your follow up another person will entertain and same thing they do which was raised another ticket. For my case until 4 person from their customer support which were doing the same thing. At the end the problem still unsolved and its already 6 days after the case reported. Not sure how they monitored their own KPIs. For sorry, next time i will clear up my money in this wallet then shift to others. Yes you are good in coins and benefits but services wise was very very bad 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 ### 1/5 — Bad customer service and user experience *2023-03-01, version 6.14.0* The partner wallet offered by boost is a gimmick to capture user attention and eventually trick user into spending more money. Though the terms did not state there are any limit can be used in a single transaction, and yet when you make your purchase, it used the funds in your main account and only use RM5 from the partner wallet even though you have RM100 in the partner wallet. How the hell I’m suppose to remember Boost password in this situation. Then the queue in the cashier will be super long because I can’t log in the app. In the end, I have to use my debit card. This make me look stupid because it made me look as if I didn’t get the app ready. The truth was I just opened the app a couple of minutes before. Imagine this happening most of the time when queueing in line to pay for petrol at a petrol station and people are looking at you weirdly because you are holding up the line due to the app not loading. I really hope this bug is fixed permanently on this app. Everything else is perfect but why is this issue not resolved? FYI, i have never faced this issue while using Grabpay last time. My Boost Flex contract is RM1050, but RM800 is already inside my Boost Wallet — and I can’t access or use that money at all because my old number was terminated and I forgot my password. I didn’t use a single cent of that RM800, yet I’m still being asked to pay the full RM1050. Logically, only RM250 should be payable. It feels unfair and unreasonable that the money in my own wallet cannot be deducted or accessed, but I’m still asked to make full payment. APA MACAM NIIII!!!! ### 1/5 — PayFlex & Normal Boost *2023-12-01, version 6.37.0* After activated PayFlex and tested top-up money to wallet, I couldn't use the normal Boost to pay for a simple breakfast and send money to my sister. After complaining to Helpdesk yesterday, the email response was I couldn't reverse the activation and the suggestion is I can stop using Flex... As a result, I don't want to add more debt to Flex which will charge me RM10 every top up transaction, and it doesn't allow repayment after activated it instantly (yesterday) or activated after 1 day (today). Luckily I didn't top-up much money compared to my usual habit, I stop using this E-wallet for the meanwhile, check back again for repayment after 4 Jan 2024. It takes around 5 seconds. What a waste of time. Just pop up the reward when transaction is done. After so many transactions, give an option to open all rewards at one go. It hangs quite often ### 5/5 — Lost Credit vs Retail Purchase *2019-09-10, version 1.0.81* I’ve been using BOOST since it’s launched and recently I used BOOST to top up a QR pay account and the money gets deducted but never gets credited into the QR pay. To be fair, payment of purchase and transfer of money from one person to another is reliable but one has to be very careful when topping up another QR pay account using BOOST. ### 5/5 — Happy customer *2019-08-23, version 1.0.78* I had a recent transaction problem with boost. The cause of the error might be due to poor network connection at the petrol station due to rain (petrol station uses satellite, hence connection problem with rain). Long story short, I spent a good 40 mins at the petrol station, called the boost terminal helpdesk, which turned out to be a separate entity from Boost app, hence, my problem couldn’t get resolved anyhow. I had to report back directly to Boost, which operated purely on emails and social media. Nevertheless, I had a good experience with the support team and how my problem was handled. I got my refund without much fuss. And for the time being, I haven’t encountered any problems. Yet. I usually topup my wallet thru online banking cause it’s more efficient and trusted. But I’ve just added my debit card recently cause I wanted to complete my mission. And I’ve been using Boost anywhere that this payment method is accepted cause I want the cash back. Just a reminder, the cash back isn’t that much, sometimes you’re unlucky you get only 20sen but rather that nothing. I did transfer out my money from wallet to my bank and it worked well. It needs an IC verification (same as BigPay) and I waited for 2 days for the verification process and 2 more days for the transaction process. Basically in 4 days, then my money from wallet got transferred to my bank account. Recommendation: To Boost, I recommend that you create a prepaid MasterCard that connected to user’s account just like BigPay so that instead of paying online, users get to pay with card thru MasterCard payment too. Comment: All in all, I’m satisfied. But I really hope that Boost will come up with a MasterCard.
