I also like the post counter, which is more accurate than a scrollbar. The ability to swipe to your different feeds is also cool, and I appreciate the larger images. The downside is the lack of the standard “share” button, which severely limits what you can do with posts - for example, sharing images to Evernote or Apple Notes; sending posts via Apple Messages, etc. This is a standard and familiar part of iOS and iPadOS, and it’s a mystery why it’s missing here. It could end up being a deal-breaker, so I hope the devs reconsider their choice to leave it out. ### 4/5 — Has a lot of potential! *2025-10-29* I like the look and feel. And the number showing how many unread posts are left is really awesome. One major issue I have. If I don’t use the app for a couple hours or I fully close the app it is asking me to sign in every time I reopen it. One aspect that I didn’t realize until today is that this is a dual-iPad/iOS app, which explains the one “ding” I have: often image sizing on iPad isn’t optimal - posts with a long and narrow image are pretty hard to deal with as on the iPad they are huge. That being said, 85% of the time, presentation is excellent, along with responsiveness and functionality, and even in the few weeks I’ve used it I see it getting better and better. Thumbs up here! BOOKMARKS + DRAFTS *2025-08-05* Love this. I’ve been hoping Bluesky would have drafts and bookmarks. They don’t but this app does. It has a clean look. Great intuitive UI. BOOKMARKS. DRAFTS. muting and you can turn off reposts. Now here’s one little thing I hope they can add: the HIDE POST FOR ME that Bluesky has. I don’t see a way to hide posts that I don’t want to see. I can hide them on blue sky app and blue sky web.. But not here. Otherwise I’m still giving 5 stars! Try it. They don’t store your data, either. Muy bueno! But for every cool extra feature it offers, it’s missing one of the basic features. In particular, image upload is an absolute mess. Uploading more than 4 images is hidden under a secret workaround, and there’s no ability to add content labels. As an artist who uses Bsky to share art with customers and fans, this essentially renders the app unusable for me. ### 2/5 — Posts Filtered Out *2026-05-26* I will not be renewing my subscription until we have the ability to view “Show More Replies” that Bluesky hides but we can view. This app behaves like they don’t exist. I want to decide what I see. I don’t want to leave it up to Boost Blue. Currently I use Boost Blue for notifications only. ### 3/5 — capable but flawed *2026-03-27* migrated from skeets to boost blue mainly for drafts, since they're a native bsky feature now and skeets is charging for it, and bsky still doesn't have a workable app for tablet. boost blue has some nice features on its own, but the performance gets sluggish, and i have run into being rate limited numerous times, which has NEVER happened to me on the native app, website, or skeets. so definitely a work in progress! ### 3/5 — Cant log in *2025-08-06, version 1.19.3* 3 stars because whilst I can’t log in it could of course be Bsky’s fault. Generated my app password ok, but it gave a long error on attempted log in. ### 4/5 — Still the best without being any good. *2026-05-07, version 3.14.0* Errors on every post (but still posts them), puts adverts in your timeline (for itself even if you’re subscribed), remembers your position (or at least within 5 or so posts of your position, breaks it’s up on iPad roughly monthly. And yet still easily the best Bluesky app. ### 4/5 — Great Option - Missing Scroll to Top *2026-02-16, version 3.5.4* Great overall experience but missing the ability to tap those three pips at the top of the iOS screen to quickly scroll to the top. Themes, fonts, drafts, ability to search, mute, and control your feed. Best of all it remembers your place in your timeline!!! The developer is also very responsive to feature requests. Great UI, finally app, that can remember reading position, working notification, amazing. Update 08/11/2025: problem solved, after update hold connected! Great news and app. But 😥 App is disconnecting BlueSky account every few hours, you need to reconnect 3 times a day and that’s annoying.
