### 1/5 — Doesnt work at all

*2020-06-26, version 1.3*

Would like refund. Waste of money. Wont connect

### 1/5 — Absolutely Does Not Work

*2018-05-31, version 1.2*

Keep in mind that you may have a different experience than I’ve had. But every other app that I connect to my ELM327 enabled OBD2 dongle works fine. This one, that I paid for, does not. Within the Boost app, it shows that it’s connected but the boost value does not change when I’m fully on the boost.

Oddly, I attempted to go to the app support page for this app and that doesn’t work either. 100% disappointed in this app and regret purchasing it.

If it’s any relevance, I tried it in both my 2010 Volkswagen CC TSI and 2010 Volkswagen Jetta. Both cars with 0 results with Boost app and results with other compatible apps.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the report, and my deepest apologies for the experience you've had!

Unfortunately not all vehicles report MAP data, which is essential for our boost calculation. It gets nerdy quick, but your OBD reader *must* respond to PID requests : `0B` For MAP and (not required) `33` for Absolute Barometric Pressure.

If your reader, car, or both do not supply these items, the boost calculation simply cannot be done. Other codes may work in other apps, such as speed, RPM, and so on, but these are of no use for real boost calculations.

My guess is that's what's happening.

Strangely, I have a 2017 GTI and Boost readings work as expected, so it's sometimes not even a manufacturer issue, just make, model, year, and again, our ODB ports.

That said please do not hesitate to issue a refund request, the last thing I want is for your to be stuck with something that doesn't work with your setup.

For my end I'll continue to work on edge cases and update the app as much as possible.

Finally, my apologies for the support form not working, but I have to say I'm having no trouble accessing it:

https://www.rackforms.com/boost

If posible, please feel free to let me know what specific issue you had an I'll do everything I can to fix that as well.

Thank you so much again for your feedback, and please do keep in touch if possible!

### 4/5 — Needs work

*2019-01-30, version 1.2*

Cool app, works on my ecoboost, but needs a couple features to make it worth the money. Please add a peak boost display option. Maybe also a digital gauge as well. Lastly make it so the phone doesn’t dim and screen turns off after a while. I would love to recommend the app if upgraded a bit ! Thanks.

### 5/5 — Works Great with my VW Golf

*2021-01-28, version 1.3*

Great clean cut simple app. Works Great on my 2016 1.8t Jetta, 2017 1.4t Jetta, and 1.4t Golf

### 5/5 — Great little app

*2018-09-03, version 1.2*

Works perfectly with my turbo Jetta.
