Insists on teaching me English
I’ve been trying to use Eloqa to improve my French vocab. At first it worked great! Then one day it switched to English UI unexpectedly and I couldn’t find any way to go back to the old French UI, but at least my French flash cards still worked.
Then they added an option to choose the UI language and I switched back to French for the additional practice…it lost all my flash cards in the process.
When I tried to set up my account again, it insisted upon teaching me English. It wouldn’t give me any option to study French until I set up a brand new account using an email address instead of my Apple account.
The flash cards are nice when they work, but at this point I have very little trust in the app itself.

Responsive Dev and Great Learning app
Encountered an issue but the dev was responsive enough to reply. A dev who engages with his users can attribute to the success of the app. Also, the app helps me learn more vocabs that I’ve ever learned in my life. Great way to learn and relearn highfalutin words.
