### 3/5 — Why Can I Not Save Supersets Into The Future?

*2026-09-23, version 265*

Sure would be nice if I didn’t have to redo my program’s supersets EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. This is such a simple implementation.

Why can’t I hide the default equipment in the weight calculator?

### 4/5 — Solid workout tracking app, but a bit expensive

*2026-09-19, version 265*

Knocking off a star because the rest timer UX is significantly worse in the latest update (why doesn’t it remember the last time I used any more? And why did you remove the 1 min, 2 min, etc shortcuts?), and because I don’t think the value for the price is as good as some other workout tracking apps.

I’m generally happy with the app overall, though, and the ability to build your own programs and use others’ programs is really nice.

### 2/5 — The new update is absolute garbage

*2026-09-18*

You can’t create rep ranges or set ranges in the new update when creating a program. Every update seems to be crappier and crappier. Are you familiar with the saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” It’s something that you should learn.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Rep ranges are still available, just in a different spot: tap the three dot menu on a Day and choose Full Edit. If there's anything else in the new update that's not working for you, email support@boostcamp.app and we'll take a look. – Michael, co-founder

### 4/5 — History

*2026-09-12, version 265*

This is a amazing fitness app! Awesome very easy to work! My only problem is that in the last version of this app, I could see my lifetime stats. Which I liked to see. But I this new version of the app I cannot see my lifetime stats.

### 3/5 — Not bad

*2026-09-02, version 264*

Over all not a bad app, but idk what I pay for pro, when it doesn’t even have a math to help build your RPEs. Or calculate your next lifts, as a beginner trying to learn this all, it would be nice knowing I hit this weight, then next week it changes based off my RPE so I don’t have to math, juggernaut AI does it, like 9k apps do it, boostcamp. Does not. I think we let this app run its self, I’m not try to be built like Toji, or as strong as Omni Man, I came to lift, like what’s going on here

### 4/5 — Good

*2026-08-26*

I have just started and having it there to motivate me is great. But sometimes the instructions on how to edit sets and workouts can get confusing

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! Glad Boostcamp is helping keep you motivated. We'll take a look at making the edit instructions clearer, appreciate you flagging it. – Michael, co-founder

### 4/5 — Great But

*2026-08-16, version 264*

Spent a decent amount of time making a routine. It disappeared, but the title of it still shows when I search for it.

### 3/5 — Stop changing the interface please

*2026-08-16, version 264*

Y’all really gotta stop changing the interface, it’s worse every update. Also when I’m creating a program, please give me an option to turn off the AI auto generated text and photo. I’ve used this app for a couple years now and it’s one of the best, just not sure what direction y’all are going with every update. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

### 3/5 — Assisted exercises seems to not be calculated correctly

*2026-08-08*

There should be a way to put your weight so the assisted exercises are calculated correctly in terms of volume, it seems wrong the way it is now.

**Developer response:** I hear you and I appreciate the feedback. Assisted exercise volume is something we're actively working on improving. Stay tuned! Thank you. – Michael, co-founder

### 4/5 — Great app but not worth the Pro

*2026-07-29, version 263*

Great app but not worth paying for the pro version. Not as many options as the free.

### 4/5 — Amazing app, great potential. some bug issues

*2026-07-27*

When I preview my program by opening one of the days. The amount of sets jumps from the old amount to the new amount due to edit. I don’t think the edit function is fully in sync with the preview section. Otherwise super useful app!

**Developer response:** Hi kenix, glad you're finding the app useful! The sets jumping when you open a day is the preview refreshing to pull the latest data. If you're still seeing issues, feel free to reach out to support@boostcamp.app. – Lala, Boostcamp Support

### 4/5 — Very good app

*2026-07-20, version 262*

Very good overall.
Could improve by not needing to tap Edit when entering sets and reps.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — A terrible user experience

*2026-09-23, version 265*

Some many bugs and the app crashes all the time, overall a frustrating and terrible user experience.

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2026-09-16, version 265*

Love the app, I’ve been using it for years. Though it just started crashing recently. Even after deleting and reinstalling, it continues to crash instantly.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-09-14, version 265*

If you accidentally deleted an exercise mid workout there is no way to restore it unless you click undo within a 3 second timer. Has completely messed up my workouts on 3 occasions now, and even if you add the exercise back it doesn’t track properly in following workouts. It is so easy to accidentally do. App is designed terribly. Can’t cross check other workouts without stopping your current one, and no one to restart your current workout when you have to go back and check cause of this messed up interface. Save your time and do not download.

### 1/5 — Lost all my progress

*2026-09-13, version 265*

I used the app solid for a year and then I updated and lost all my data. Don’t recommend I shouldn’t lose my data!!!!

### 1/5 — Downward spiral

*2026-08-25, version 264*

Every update makes the app worse. Now the timer is all but useless as the app resets when you change apps. There are fewer pro programs now then there was a year ago. Updated on June 21, same issues persist. AUG 25- no change to above, however now the app will just close after being open for a few seconds. The app has had an update but no positive changed have been made

### 1/5 — Liars!!! It is not free at all!!

*2026-08-25, version 264*

Big ole waste of time setting everything up just for it to make you sign up for a 7 day free trial by adding your credit card info. Bunch of bums for that 😡

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2026-08-16, version 264*

The app always crashes within a few seconds of starting.

### 1/5 — Not Free

*2026-07-16, version 262*

Was told by Google this had a free version but after signing up the app wouldn’t let me past the “free trial” with any way to choose a free version. Very scammy and people shouldn’t click to agree anything that says “no payment due at this time”.

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2026-07-13, version 262*

Why do you have to go through the WHOLE process and then pay for it? Like now it has all my info and there’s no way I’m paying for a stupid app to tell me that I’m not fit and that I should do some Russian exercise. Dumb ahh app don’t get it

### 1/5 — Not a fan

*2026-06-25, version 261*

The app has a pile of multi week workouts…. They just repeat the same workout every week.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple and sweet

*2026-09-24, version 265*

Super simple and versatile great app 👏👏

### 5/5 — Free

*2026-09-22, version 265*

As broke ahh student this it’s good it only has a premium but nothing required and no paywall

### 5/5 — So far a beautiful & FREE app

*2026-09-17, version 265*

Been difficult to actually find FREE workout apps, but this one seems to be one of the extremely rare ones!!!
Of course there’s the option to invest funds for more gadgets & whatnot, yet there’s no need to actually do that if you’re looking to get a workout in w/ the necessities to help you track your sessions.
I’ve had the app for about 2 weeks, browsed through it & will have 2 workouts recorded w/ it after today.
It holds excellent detail to provide to me what I need (workout descriptions/examples, reps, weight, set adjustments & customizations).

### 5/5 — The best way to organise your gym routine

*2026-09-09, version 265*

The app is very helpful you can make your own split or use a ready-made one
The best is that is it a free
Keep the good work

### 5/5 — Functionality

*2026-09-06, version 265*

I really enjoy that Boostcamp has a variety of programs based on your level of experience. It has been helpful to do the workouts and have a consistency plan. This is an amazing app and such a blessing for the community as a newbie.

### 5/5 — Exactly what it says

*2026-09-04, version 264*

This app is great. It offers free programs (paid if you want but I only use the free ones) and keeps track of everything: weight, sets, rest period, etc. even provides videos and illustrations on how to do exercises if you don’t know them

### 5/5 — Focused

*2026-08-26, version 264*

The best app & tool to keep you focused, motivated & disciplined

### 5/5 — Great workout Tool

*2026-08-25, version 264*

I absolutely love this app, I’m currently using the free version which is good, the feature are nice. This is a great tool for any workout level. I doing really spend money on apps however I’m seriously thinking about it for this one, I really love this app.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-08-12, version 263*

Haven’t used to many exercise apps but this one is awesome. Free version is great and easy to use. Great programs to choose from as well. Will be recommending to others
