It happens when i have two free coffees. I am a user in protest!!! And the all the rating and the notifications - what the heck!!!!! Shame the poor waiters (who are amazing) have to deal with grumpy customers due to an app that was designed soo badly. I just tell them it’s not their fault someone at HQ got a deal for one of their buddies at an app company. ### 1/5 — Unable to recover locked account *2024-05-17, version 4.2* I have followed instructions more than ten times to unlock my account but it won’t work. Please go to Bootleggers in Cape Town and Stellenbosch and see what customer service is supposed to look like! Vouchers take a long time to download. ### 1/5 — Miss *2024-01-19, version 4.0.2* Don’t download this app, I sent my husband a R50 gift voucher as a test and he received his almost immediately. I sent another gift voucher of R400 to my mother in law on the 24 December 2023 and up till today the voucher does not appear on her app. Sent more than one email to their head office I have still not received feedback. I visited one of the restaurants and the store manager said that they would escalate the case. This app is not compatible with all mobile numbers, wish I had none before buying the voucher. ### 1/5 — False Hope! *2023-07-25, version 3.0* I was thrilled when I heard that Bootlegger now had an app. My joy was short-lived recently as I have never received any of my free coffees. My first free one ‘disappeared’ when I wanted to use it & again when my ‘voucher’ never appeared after my 10 coffees. Based on the reviews, I see this is a regular occurrence.
