This BOQ app is a absolute Nightmare, please someone help us , I have to use it and suffer. Is someone in BOQ bank who can hear me ?!

It would appear there is no upgrade in sight for this ridiculously poor app. Forever freezing, slow to load, and not user friendly in the slightest. Ive been banking with boq for over 25 years and i am about to switch all of my accounts including my business account due to how terrible this app is.

This has to be one of the worst banking apps I've ever seen and had the displeasure of having to use. I'm actually switching banks it's so rubbish.

The Bank of Queensland Classic app is honestly one of the worst banking apps I’ve used. The interface feels outdated, slow, and clunky compared to most other Australian banking apps. Basic features that should be simple end up taking way longer than they should because the navigation isn’t intuitive.

The app frequently logs you out, loads slowly, and sometimes takes multiple attempts just to check balances or make transfers. For a bank in 2026, the technology feels years behind competitors like CommBank or Up.

Another issue is reliability — there are times when the app struggles to load accounts or displays errors, which is extremely frustrating when you’re trying to manage payments quickly.

Overall, the user experience is poor, the design feels old, and the performance is inconsistent. BOQ seriously needs to invest in improving this app because right now it feels like a major step behind the rest of the banking industry.

The old telephone bank is more reliable than this app. Enter your account number and password and the screen turns white and freezes. Deleted and reinstalled countless times.

I have been persistently trying to use this app since I joined boq 8 years ago and it has never been easy to use nor is the code bug free. It makes me wonder if the code has been adequately validated. Please update it to be as user friendly as other banks apps before I junk it and close my account.

Outdated and useless. When you can finally get into it the information is not up to date. Can no longer access credit card details so now have 2 apps for one bank and have to use BPay to pay the credit card. Ridiculous.

One of the WORST apps or banking even just the classic online site is the same. They nailed the MyBOQ app why the hell can’t they make this like that? This forever has log in issues DAILY if not HOURLY.

It’s so bad it’s making me consider switching banks even though I have been with BOQ for decades. But the classic online for any banking online is soooooo bad and you won’t fix for whatever reason….
