The news feed generation process should include removal of articles that failed to generate. Instead, currently you will see articles in the feed that have a goofy title like this and a 15 sentence summary about how the article failed to generate. **Developer response:** Hello, thank you for the feedback. We’ve since fixed an issue where articles that failed to generate correctly were still appearing in the feed. Those entries are now filtered out, so only properly generated articles are shown. One of the reasons i avoid reading news is because all the sensationalism and outrage stoking leaves me feeling upset. But this app makes the news very boring, and provides short, bland summaries of each article. I can scroll through the app for ten minutes a day to get a sense of what’s going on without ever feeling annoyed. I don’t want to have to wade through local news from Minnesota when I live in NYC. Also blocking topics. I don’t care about the UK’s Royal Family. Please let me not have to wade through all the headlines the next time a royal has a baby. I hope all this makes sense. But there needs to be a LOT more customization and options for what you see. I want to filter out certain sources, and I want the “Entertainment” category to be more about movies and TV and less about celebrity gossip. Just needs a lot of work. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Still politically motivated *2026-07-16* Yea, sounds good in principle, but when 90% of the articles are from hard left leaning publications and the ones that are not don’t touch politics at all, leads me to believe that this is still awfully bias. Also, there is no way that I have found to remove news sources. For example, if you dont want to get anything from fox or the beast, there is no way to exclude it. Long and short, it takes the sensational language away so you feel more balanced, but it does nothing to change the content. ### 1/5 — Outdated news *2026-01-11* The news is never new. All this does is group a bunch of news headlines. There are like 500 apps that do this already. Do something novel other than just being a summary wrapper around ChatGPT. ### 1/5 — Not really news.. more like old news? *2023-06-29* I think this idea is great, all of the news articles that are marked "now" or by timestamp are not really in realtime. Sometimes they are 2 to 3 days old. The timestamp appears to be when the article was generated rather than when it was actually published. That makes this more like Boring Old News Report. Moving categories around is really kind of a pointless feature. it would be nice to have a fully combined feed with filterable categories. Also, some of the news sources are hardly what I would consider reputable if not completely unknown? I found this one reddit hoping that meant good quality, but the premature delivery and UI of this news feed begs for plenty of features that a standard news app should have. I can't filter out/follow specific news companies. I cant search over a specific time. Many of the articles are 1-2 days old. I get attacked by like 20 popups when I open the app. I thought this was supposed to be different from other news apps??
