### 1/5 — No funciona

*2025-08-01, version 2.7.0*

Otra vez estoy sin poder usar la app no me deja hacer la conexión que por mantenimiento no hace menos de un mes o a lo mucho un mes estaba igual.

### 1/5 — Use EasyAir instead

*2025-06-19, version 2.7.0*

This app no longer works. I was trying for months to get my thermostat reconnected. Thanks to Reddit, I was directed to the Bosch EasyAir app, which is apparently the successor to this app.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-06-13, version 2.7.0*

The thermostat says use the app to register device, then I try to register the device and it just keeps popping up with a message that says “unregistered device” like yeah no duh I’m trying to register it right now????

### 1/5 — App was replaced by Bosch EasyAir

*2025-06-03, version 2.7.0*

Title. I mean, you could at least let users know this app is out of support or just remove it from AppStore.

### 1/5 — Can not connect

*2025-03-11, version 2.7.0*

I was able to connect the thermostat to the app on my phone and out of the blue it disconnected itself. I can not connect it as it will not show or give me chance to connect to the systems hotspot. I tried to set it up again and again with another email and password and still the same issues! My sistem is only 4 months old !

### 1/5 — No email

*2025-02-27, version 2.7.0*

Tried to reset email and was directed to my email for instructions but nothing ever came. Tried several times.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2025-02-16, version 2.7.0*

This thermostat is complete junk worked fine for about a year not it also has disconnected itself from the app and still is on WiFi. I can’t even re register it as won’t even acknowledge the temp code it gives. I would never spend my hard earned money on this trash. Any old thermostat does what this one does and is half the price

### 1/5 — Waste

*2025-01-18, version 2.7.0*

After buying this worked great then stopped connecting one day and I’ve tried everything absolute waste going to go buy another FROM A DIFFERENT BRAND!

### 1/5 — trash app

*2025-01-15, version 2.7.0*

I wish there’s 0 star option. Not able to be connected!

### 1/5 — Verification error

*2025-01-04, version 2.7.0*

Bought a Bosch system for the whole house and 2 months later we have lost all HVAC systems from our app. This app is absolutely trash

### 1/5 — Junk

*2024-12-28, version 2.7.0*

Update; they stopped this app and haven’t told anyone

It connects to the thermostats 1 out of 100 tries. This app is garbage or the connectivity at Bosch is, but I wish I knew. I need this app to WORK!! Constant “failed to connect to device” errors. FIX IT

### 1/5 — Terrible system, don’t buy the product either.

*2024-09-19, version 2.7.0*

The system doesn’t work. It has somehow managed to disconnect itself from the app, even though the system is connected to internet. It has also, somehow, managed to change its own time zone. You cannot set anything in the system without being connected to this app, which has insane trouble trying to connect to the system itself. If you’ve already gotten this system, we’re in this together, and I’m sorry.

### 1/5 — Terrible App

*2024-09-09, version 2.7.0*

Just won’t connect to my Thermostat. Pure garbage.

### 1/5 — Device Offline….constantly

*2024-08-20, version 2.7.0*

Every time I open this terrible app it says my device is offline. Restart the app and reset the thermostat and still says offline. Changed WiFi to a different address…. Same thing. Deleted the stat to try to start over and just gives me an error when I scan the QR code. Do better Bosch…

### 2/5 — Issues

*2024-08-10, version 2.7.0*

The thermostat will disconnect from the app and it is excruciatingly hard to get them to pair again

### 1/5 — Horrendous app makes Bosch look antiquated

*2024-05-18, version 2.7.0*

It is shocking that such a world-renown tech company like Bosch would release an app that could have been coded and designed by high-school students. And not very smart high school students. It is a terrible app that seems like a relic from the late 1990s. My respect for Bosch has plummeted. This app could have been launched by hackers trying to ruin Bosch’s brand. On top of this, the entire ecosystem of “Bosch Connected” apps and services are so badly integrated, so hard to get to work, and so badly planned, designed & executed that it’s makes Bosch look like a small regional company in some small U.S. state with a minuscule budget for IOT. It just seems like an afterthought. I really would have completely reconsidered the Bosch appliance I bought and bought a different brand if I’d known how badly Bosch delivers on the clear need for competent user control of purchased products.

### 1/5 — Unable to open the app

*2024-05-14, version 2.7.0*

We just got a new Bosch Heat pump, along with a Bosch thermostat. I downloaded the app, but when I try to sign in it says wrong password. I give my email to reset. No email comes. I’ve used the correct password, I tried multiple times, gave my email multiple times. I think no one monitors the app.

### 2/5 — Unreliable

*2024-05-10, version 2.7.0*

Often unable to update system using application which returns "No response from the device" message. Home mesh WiFi is not the issue as BCC-100 is connected to network at time of issue.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Totally useless

*2026-05-17, version 2.7.0*

frustratingly overcomplicated connection procedure that inevitably fails. Bosch should do better.

### 1/5 — Thermostat doesn’t work

*2026-04-08, version 2.7.0*

When Bosch released their newest bug fix for this app, our thermostat completely quit working and can’t connect to any kind of Internet now. Don’t buy a Bosch. It doesn’t work with Alexa and it has a limited lifespan. We’re going to have to go buy a new thermostat and I guarantee it will be any brand but Bosch.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Don’t buy Bosh.

*2026-02-03, version 2.7.0*

Used the Bosch connect app. Even though it kept losing the IP address. Then it quit. Bosch say use the Bosch easy air app. Well it doesn’t work either. Can’t even register an account. Can’t log in to my account setup for the old app. I swear to god I’ll never buy a Bosch product again.

### 1/5 — Can't even register

*2026-02-02, version 2.7.0*

I keep getting a data format error. I've tried multiple variations and keep getting the same error.

### 1/5 — No funciona

*2025-12-17, version 2.7.0*

Otra vez no puedo usar la app no me deja hacer la conexión al WiFi necesitamos un técnico o no sé qué pase con el termostato ya es la cuarta vez que pasa.

### 1/5 — Can’t even register

*2025-12-13, version 2.7.0*

Spent hours scanning the little QR code and searching up why it’s throwing this error. No solution. Just a bad update and now people cannot register their devices.

### 1/5 — outdated

*2025-12-08, version 2.7.0*

this does not work the BCC110 but it’s the only one that Alexa will try to connect to

### 1/5 — Broken

*2025-10-04, version 2.7.0*

Connected control failure

### 1/5 — Constant connectivity issues

*2025-09-24, version 2.7.0*

Worst thermostat app. Would not have purchased this thermostat if I knew the issues with the app. Beware!

### 1/5 — Constantly logged out

*2025-09-21, version 2.7.0*

There is nothing worse than needing to sign in EVERY day despite having “remember me” enabled. Also no Face ID option as a work around. Just a poor user experience. I wish I had any other brand of thermostat and heat pump system. I won’t make that mistake with Bosch again.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — No issues so far

*2023-12-19, version 2.6.0*

Only had for a few hours, and it’s doing almost everything I need. 5 starts so far.

### 5/5 — Great device

*2021-08-30, version 2.5.0*

I do found this device superior to Nest as it do not track you activity and more user friendly
It may be offline but i assume it is due to LTE Double Nat internet which i switch as it has private IP address When i was on public Ip it work more stable

### 5/5 — Pretty much flawless.

*2019-06-26, version 1.0.8*

I have 2 BCC100 thermostats and the app works perfectly in controlling them inside the house and when outside/away from the house.
Only complaint is I wish the app and the thermostat worked with Apple HomeKit and Google home, etc. maybe one day.

### 4/5 — Does the device logs have a special secret?

*2024-07-05, version 2.7.0*

I always get a timeout when trying to read the device logs. Is this no longer supported?

### 4/5 — App works great

*2024-04-19, version 2.6.0*

It took a while to get the app to connect to my device and account registered but once setup it works great. Using iPhone app.

Some features it could use:
1- firmware updates through the app. Currently we can only do this at the device itsself even though there is a tab in the app to do it.
2- temperature range control. Currently we cannot set auto temperature range to any desired heat or ac number. We can really only set a 5 point range between when ac kicks on and heat kicks on. Would be nice to be able to set a closer range vs using just ac mode or just heat mode and having to swap between them in the spring and fall months.

### 4/5 — Good need improvement

*2024-03-01, version 2.6.0*

I have the BCC100 for 2 years now. The app is functional had problem connecting couple of times but the issues were solved after the app and the device update. No new options or functionality but just improvement device now function as intended with no problem. Best for Bosh heat pump with all possible options to customize.

### 4/5 — App has come a long way

*2023-12-04, version 2.6.0*

Over the last 2 years I can honestly say the app has come a long way. It went from working sporadically to now working all the time. Before I had to use only 2.4GHz channel on my router but between getting a new router that seems to auto detect what channel the device is connecting to and the app just being improved to the point of being functional I’m much happier with this. I was getting very close to having our installer use another option to control our really nice Bosch system. But it seems like Bosch finally has gotten it right! So let’s hope they keep this up.

### 4/5 — Good need improvement

*2022-11-01, version 2.5.0*

I have the BCC100 for one month now. The app is functional had problem connecting couple of times. It needs to be updated and new features added. This app was not updated for 2 years.

### 4/5 — Different than other thermostat

*2020-06-23, version 2.4.0*

Initially I had some difficulty to set it up correctly . I log out from the app to bring the phone app and the device on the “same” page. So far it is working well. The connection to the device is slow.

### 3/5 — No usage history

*2024-10-10, version 2.7.0*

Why does it seem like this is the only Bosch app that has no usage history ? I would really like that feature.
