It would be so helpful to be able to search routes. I have a lot and I have to scroll very far to find them. Being able to sort routes would also be nice (modify on, last used, maybe distance from me). The watch app also has a major bug. If you do not remember to shut down the watch app when you are done biking, it continues to record your heart rate until the watch is drained - even when the bike is off. There are features that used to be paid, that are entirely unavailable anymore. They enable features related to the bike. When I bought my bike brand new I was expecting these features to be available for purchase. But they had disabled them a few months before I bought my bike. I think it would be really cool if Bosch could just give everyone access to these features - especially since they are between the app and the bike ### 2/5 — Works ok, but mainly dependent on phone accuracy and does not integrate with other bike computers. *2026-07-05, version 6.1.2* The route recording is dependent on your cell phone connectivity and it lacks integration with other bike computers that have far more accurate gps data. It is as dissatisfying as their lack of supporting the right to repair as most of their motors are very modular in construction and not hard to rebuild, but they are more interested in replacement than rebuilding. ### 3/5 — GPS *2026-06-03, version 6.1.2* Après avoir rentré les données sur le GPS pour me rendre du a au point b, le GPS n’a jamais pu suivre le trajet que j’avais ### 3/5 — Ok but utterly unreliable *2026-05-23, version 6.1.2* This app has the potential for greatness but I've been using it for almost 5 years with a Nyon head unit and Bosch has never put in the effort to get it there. It regularly stops syncing, then forcing you to remove the bike from the phone's Bluetooth list, remove the phone from the bike's memory, and re-pair from scratch - which also then fails to pair 3 times out of 4 if not more so you often spend a bunch of time getting it to reconnect. Even putting aside the fundamental failure to generate decent directions in the map module or even let you manually input them without a lot of effort, dumping your connection repeatedly and forcing the user to waste time on setting up again is egregious IMHO. ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2025-11-30, version 6.0.2* Will fail to log or do partial logging where it shows that an activity happened but has no detail. ### 4/5 — missing features *2025-08-20, version 5.8.3* The app is okay, but it doesn’t actually record much of the data it captures to the fitness app. ### 4/5 — Appli sympa *2025-07-04* J’apprécie le mode GPS connecté au Kiox de mon vélo. Well, the graphics are childish, it doesn’t update rides (I’ve waited days to look at completed rides), it gives so little information (compared to my Garmin that shows so much) that I just don’t bother with it anymore. Bosch could really do with investing in their app as there is a lot of competition out there plus they obviously have all the data from the bike, why not show it to us? ### 3/5 — what start button? *2025-05-15, version 5.7.6* app always references a start button for a ride... i cannot find it anywhere. results in really weird strava data. ANCIEN COMMENTAIRE : Depuis la mise à jour « version 5.7.5 », la connexion au GPS du téléphone ne fonctionne plus (ou très rarement) : plus de trace du parcours. J’ai tout essayé : quitter et redémarrer l’application, redémarrer le vélo, désinstaller l’application et la réinstaller en se reconnectant au compte, bien vérifier tous les réglages (suivi de localisation réglé sur « toujours », sans mode basse consommation…). Téléphone à la dernière mise à jour, vélo également entretenu et mis à jour par le réparateur cycles… incompréhensible. C’est une application très intéressante et utile, mais là elle perd 80% de son utilité. UNE MISE À JOUR QUI REGLE CE PROBLEME, VITE ! J’ajouterai des étoiles volontiers lors ce gros problème sera résolu. It has been like this for a week. Just not good enough Bosch. Sort it out. ### 2/5 — Was ok, now GPS disconnects *2025-04-09, version 5.7.5* Had a similar issue a couple of years ago where an update stopped the GPS working and had to wait for a fix, now it’s done it again. Hopefully the developers know and will fix soon. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Useless heart monitoring *2026-06-03, version 6.1.2* 2026/06/02: just received an answer from “Your Bosch eBike Team” that tells me they do not support the Apple Watch!!!! So the real question is: WHY do you provide (and install) an app on the Apple Watch to do what you are telling me is not supported? The logical conclusion seems “just to be listed in the Apple App Store and benefit from Apple marketing machine” In my book, this is absolutely unethical if not downright fraudulent!!! Original review: I have several sport apps which NEVER had any issue with heart monitoring on my Apple Watch while I exercise. This e-bike Connect is horrible: while biking, there has never been one ride (out of hundreds) where the heart function worked from start to finish. There are decent features which make me use the app every time I get on my bike. I can see the charge status of my bike’s battery, even when the bike is not turned on. Following a ride or a series of rides, I can track my historical progress in app. My rides are synced to Apple’s fitness app. Querying the data gives all time kilometres covered. Marvellous way to keep track of my rides. ### 5/5 — E-bike connect *2025-08-17, version 5.8.3* The app works great. It does stop pretty quick though so it breaks up the ride. That is ok to deal with I am just a recreational rider. I have the Trek Domane+ HP I love the bike. The motor is a little noisy compared to my wife’s Verve +. The riding I have done so far has been a dream the bike rides great shifting, braking, steering. I’ve done 3 Ragbrai’s so far and can’t say enough about the bike, the battery last the whole day for the most part, except the century ride of course. I would love to get the extender battery or a spare. They are pricey of course and I’ve already put a good chunk of paychecks into this bike. Too bad they stopped making this model. But I can understand the new models look a lot sleeker. This bike is a beauty though along with the new ones. All and all I am very happy with the bike and the app. They are very good tech and are user friendly thank you Bosch and Trek. Votre équipe Bosch eBike ### 5/5 — Probleme nach Update wieder behoben *2025-04-16* Nach dem letzten Update brach die Verbindung zum Satelliten nach ca. 2 Minuten ab. Das geniale Navigieren mit der App über das Kiox funktionierte nicht mehr. Nach meiner Meldung an den Support von Bosch wurde ich sehr transparent über die Bemühungen des Supportteams informiert. Nach ca. 2 Wochen war das neue Update da. Alles läuft wieder genial. Die Navigation hat den besten Algorithmus und das Navigieren über das Kiox ist einfach genial. Ich habe bereits viel Geld in andere Bike-Navigation investiert, aber keine ist so genial wie diese. Danke für den exzellenten und schnellen Support und die Überarbeitung des Fehlers. Dein Bosch eBike Team ### 5/5 — Update völlig unbrauchbar *2025-04-06* Ich bin gerade in Holland und hatte meine App das Update machen lassen seit dem geht die Navigation nicht mehr. Es wird nix mehr aufgezeichnet und in der App hinterlegt. Navigation ist überhaupt nicht mehr möglich da die GPS Daten nicht mehr getrackt werden seit dem Update. Es bricht genau nach 2 min immer wieder ab. Bitte zurück zur alten App Version. Ich hab mein Rad fast 4 Jahre und es lief bis zu diesem Tag mit dem Bosch System problemlos.
