My first pair was stolen and I actually bought a second set. I was under the impression that they were greatly updated from the previous pair. For a horrible insomniac who can’t fall asleep nor stay asleep, I have tried everything to try to sleep. These helped me “chill,” which was better than nothing! But I expected the second version to be way better! The sounds must come from your app, but you never added/eliminated any—why? It’s especially puzzling that you didn’t keep this fresh and updated since many of the sounds were similar and if they weren’t working out for someone, the sound choices were even less. In addition, research about sound and how it helps people sleep is huge now and I don’t understand why you dropped the ball! ### 4/5 — Great for partners who snore *2024-10-09, version 3.0.11* I was skeptical but these are great. Most sound computer generated. Many have weird sounds in them that they shouldn’t- e.g Swell has two little click sounds when the loop starts over and a weird siren sound in the background toward the end of the loop, kind of like a cop car. These little sound glitches/poor editing drive me crazy. I wish it were the quality of Calm- or that these would just let us play our own music. There also just aren’t nearly as many options as some other sleep sounds offer. I have tinnitus and am a light sleeper. I bought these for myself a few years ago to help me fall asleep faster. The support team and chat gave me instructions which are useless . The battery life on the buds should be improved or at least their asynchronous failures (always one getting worse than the other). I’m on my replacement pair and the right one last a couple hours less than the left…. Why. The app always opens saying to put them in the case instead of just… connecting as asked… despite them always going into my case in the morning. The app clearly holds onto its last known connectivity state and assumes they were left out during the day. Some of the loops have blaring issues where you can hear an obvious loop giveaway every 15 or so seconds making those particular samples unbearable. And there’s such a limited selection. The app needs some love but with the last update being 2 years ago it seems to be more of an afterthought here. Sign me on Bose. I’ll fix the samples tens of thousands of people are complaining about online in a week. I want them all to be good too. ### 3/5 — Great when they work *2024-05-13, version 3.0.11* Incredible piece of tech for nearly a year. Would have given them 5 stars in that timeline. Currently the right bud will only play at about 10% volume. The left bud also seems quieter, but not as bad. Maybe 80-90% volume. Saw this is a known problem. I have contacted customer service countless times with NO response!! My right sleep bud has a VERY difficult time connecting, IF IT CONNECTS AT ALL!! And, once in a blue moon when it DOES finally connect, it will literally last anywhere from 5 seconds (yes, I said seconds) to a maximum of 2 hours!! Really like that it works through its own app, meaning you don’t have to silence notifications etc like you would with headphones. Alarm saves even if it loses connection to your phone, eg your phone dies because you forgot to switch on the charger. Great for travelling Comfortable and low profile, case holds about 3-4 charges after 2.5 years of use Only thing I would like to see is an update to the app adding a proper continuous thunderstorm sound. The past week she starts meowing, constantly, in the morning for about 1-2 hours because she wants to go see the birds on my balcony. So I wasn’t getting much sleep. The solution: I bought the headphone and she no longer wakes me up with her meowing. The sound selection on the app is great. Lots of options and they sound good on the earbuds. I HIGHLY recommend these if noise keeps you up. The app also allows you to set an alarm so you don’t have to worry about sleeping though an alarm.
