If you will need something helpful, you should use some photo/graphic file with T map in your phone or paper map. You have to wait until it’s finished to view the map. Also, when trying to figure out from where to where to go, instructions are not clear. PLEASE update so we can use this app while trying to figure out how to get to destination while on a run and train is almost arriving to a station where you need to stop. Google map or any gps map are even faster and have more info than this one. ### 1/5 — Not a fan anymore *2022-09-15, version 2.1.0* The ads are annoying when you’re frantically trying to make it on time to a train. Also, the train arrival times are constantly incorrect. Just use the MBTA live tracker on your internet browser- there’s no ads and the times are correct. ### 1/5 — Odd focus on transit maps rather than real maps *2022-09-14, version 2.1.0* Unlike Transit, you can’t save actual addresses, only ‘Places,’ a mix of set locations like towns and stations. Unclear how to access bus lines. It often never loads the actual next depart time and I’ve often found it to be completely inaccurate. So this is something that is really needed and could really help T riders but it is utterly useless. …oh and now when entering my review it took several try’s before it would accept my nickname —so again —frustrating ### 1/5 — Misleading *2023-06-20, version 2.1.0* Although the app’s heading states this is the “official” MBTA app, there is no such thing. The MBTA website contains far more information and is as far easier to use. I paid the $14.95 fir the ad-free experience and feel ripped off. I deleted this app and just put a shortcut to the MBTA site on my home screen.
