All of the information about Boston was copied and pasted from Wikipedia! I paid for unique information and I didn't get it! Has about 15 restaurants and doesn't offer anythng but address. All it is is a sales platform for all sorts of tours, hotels, etc. Not even the maps are free. Not sure what is useful about it. Worst app I’ve ever downloaded bar none. Feel like I’m going to get a slew of junk mail and viruses now. ### 1/5 — Lame, free offer doesn’t offer any features you want *2018-06-26* Might be a good app if you want to pay. As you may know there are many revenue models within the apps and we have decided to use the freemium model (free to download with locked content). We have never implied anything other than that. Even if you look at the app store page, it says that the app contains In App Purchases and it shows a price for each one of them. It is only 1 payment to unlock the content. The reason behind this is for travelers to be able to enjoy everything in an offline mode without paying for roaming charges while they travel. Even being able to use geolocalization capabilities such as GPS or Augmented Reality without being connected to your cell phone provider. Then I realised that the first upgrade doesn't include the offline maps, and instead you have to upgrade again! I emailed customer support but the email bounced back. Best by far! ### 5/5 — Second time that helps me *2018-12-06* I normally travel for business to Boston. I downloaded the app about a year ago and again last week. It has improved a lot and now that it is free I am taking more advantage of it. Just went for lunch to an amazing place that I didnt know before in the city. **Developer response:** Thank you very much. Yes indeed we have put this product for free to simply give a better experience to everyone trying the app. ### 3/5 — Beautiful app, good info, but photo gallery crashes *2011-05-08* This is a lovely travel guide and we will certainly enjoy it for our trip to Boston. The interface is fun to use and the information is relatively current and should be quite helpful. The only problem we have so far is that the app crashes when we attempt to access the photo gallery. We have an iPad 2 and have fully powered off the device several times; still crashes.
