## What is Botanio?

Most plant apps hand you a fixed schedule: water everything every seven days, forever. Plants don't work that way. A snake plant in a dim corner and a fern on a sunny sill don't want the same thing — and neither of them wants in January what it wanted in July.

Botanio works the interval out instead of fixing it.

WHERE THE NUMBER COMES FROM
Every plant starts from a baseline in a catalogue of 103 houseplants, each with its common and Latin name. Four things you tell us when you add it then adjust that baseline: how much light it gets, how big the pot is, what the pot is made of, and what season it is where you live. Open any plant and the whole calculation is there, term by term. Nothing is hidden.

IT LEARNS YOUR HOME
After each watering Botanio asks one question: how was the soil? Still wet, just right, or bone dry. Those answers compound. A pot that keeps coming back wet gets a longer interval, and it keeps stretching until your answers settle on "just right" — then it stays there. A few months in, the schedule is yours, not a species average.

WINTER IS THE WHOLE POINT
Growth stops, evaporation drops, and a plant kept on its summer schedule sits in wet soil for weeks. Root rot from winter overwatering kills more houseplants than drought ever has. Botanio stretches every interval by half through winter, automatically, in the hemisphere you actually live in.

ONE REMINDER A DAY — NOT ONE PER PLANT
Everything due today arrives in a single notification, at an hour you choose, once. Set quiet hours and nothing lands while you're asleep. A plant you didn't get to is mentioned once more three days later, then it stops asking. Twenty plants never means twenty notifications.

THE REST
- Rooms, so plants are grouped where they actually stand
- Care history: watering, feeding, repotting, pruning, misting, with notes and photos
- A calendar view of the next 30 days
- Statistics: total waterings, on-time rate, average gap. A plant with fewer than two waterings shows no rate at all rather than a made-up 100%.
- Pet-toxicity flags on every species
- Archive a plant to keep its history and stop its reminders
- Turkish and English, light and dark

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
No account, no sign-up, no server. Plants, photos and history live on this device only. Nothing is uploaded, there is no analytics and no tracking, and there is nothing to opt out of.

Botanio never hands you a schedule. It works one out from the plant in front of you, and keeps correcting it for as long as you keep answering.
