## What is Boughly?

Boughly is a reader for stories that branch.

Every choice you make is a real fork. Different paths, different endings, different versions of you. Some books are trees, not lines. Pick a story, follow your instinct, and see how far you can walk before the path turns.

What you can do today:
• Read original branching stories and linear novels from independent creators
• Tap a choice and watch the path change in front of you
• Save the books you want to come back to
• Pick up exactly where you left off, with the right state restored
• Customize your reading: light, sepia, or dark; small, medium, or large text
• Read for free; sign in only when you want to sync your library across devices

Boughly is built for readers who like to be surprised by their own decisions.
Open a book, make a choice, see where it ends up.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-07

New: browse and read multi-chapter Books, including "The Thirteenth Bough." Pick up where you left off, chapter to chapter.
Fixed an issue where sign-in occasionally didn't complete after returning to the app.
Signing out now only affects the device you're on, not your other sessions.
NEW APP ICON!

Thanks for reading with Boughly!

### 1.0.0 — 2026-05-14
