## What is Boulder Log?

Boulder Log is a free, flexible climbing journal for logging bouldering sessions, tracking progress, and saving the moments you want to remember.

Use it however you like. Record every attempt, tag, and note, or keep things simple with just a grade and result. Log during your session at the gym or add everything later.

The private Gallery gives you a place to build a visual history of your climbing. Save photos and videos, add optional details like grades, gyms, notes, and tags, and connect memories to the sessions or climbs they came from.

Boulder Log supports both V-scale and Font scale.

Use Boulder Log to:

• Log live bouldering sessions
• Add sessions manually after climbing
• Save private climbing photos and videos
• Add grades, gyms, notes, and tags to your memories
• Build a visual history of the climbs and moments you want to remember
• Track sends, flashes, attempts, and projects
• Save grades, attempts, notes, and tags
• Review session history and best grades
• See progress, grade breakdowns, send rates, and tag trends
• Earn simple climbing milestones
• View and share session recaps

### 5/5 — Solid Climbing app with major potential

*2026-06-16*

This is clearly a very polished app that has huge potential for the future. The inclusion of climbing specific features such as gauge and the ability to compare Ascents separates this app from many other general fitness apps.

I also love the inclusion of a local account option; a nice refreshing touch to many modern apps that require an email to sign in. Overall, a very modern and streamlined experience for boulder and gym climbing. Excited to see where development takes this app.
