There technology for 2026 is more like 2011 dial up! It lags! The app never works! I wish my boss would switch back to vagro! Be warned ### 1/5 — Clunky *2026-01-21, version 1.1048.1142* Their marketing and branding makes it appear that the software is modern and sleek. It’s difficult to use and we’ve lost money because of how unnecessarily complicated it is to make appointments. It’s not the worst but there’s zero customer service (just AI chat), it’s extremely slow to sync your performance, and it doesn’t have near the features that Square does —- such as appointment limits for a shift/day. We will most likely switch soon ### 1/5 — DO NOT TRUST BOULEVARD - Dishonest promises, poor support and unethical practices *2025-10-28, version 1.1002.1096* I’ve been using boulevard about a year and a half, and I can honestly say this company has some of the worst customer service and business ethics I’ve ever experienced. Throughout my time with them, I've had multiple issues that required prompt attention and nearly every time, I've been ignored for weeks or months. Their representatives rarely follow up, even on serious matters that directly impact how my business operates. When my contract came up for renewal this past June, I was ready to move to another platform. However, Boulevard convinced me to stay by promising that my credit card processing rate would not increase. That was a major deciding factor for me. Three months later, I received an email notifying me that my rates were going up by a full 1%, despite those assurances. When I reached out for clarification, no one responded. I had to follow up repeatedly, and when I finally reached someone, their “solution” was to suggest that I start charging my clients the credit card fee to offset the increase. Something that goes against how I choose to run my business. My clients already spend a significant amount on services and tips, and I refuse to pass along boulevards unethical price hikes to them. Instead of taking accountability or honoring their promises, Boulevard tried to dictate how I should run my business so that they could continue to profit. That's not partnership, that's manipulation. If you are a salon owner or service-based business considering Boulevard, please think twice. Their customer service is unresponsive, their communication is misleading, and their business practices are predatory. Once you sign, they will change terms, ignore your concerns, and offer zero accountability. Do not trust them. ### 1/5 — Limited Functions *2025-10-04, version 1.978.1072* This app is useless when it comes to viewing anything other than clients and appointments. Square appointments allows you to view way more aspects of your business in their app. I’m an owner and need an app for admin side of things. It happens all the time. I’m constantly deleting and uploading the app in hopes it will refresh.
