## What is Bouncer?

Do you dread opening your Twitter feed? Are you tired of seeing rage bait, political drama, and posts that make you feel worse than you did before you opened Twitter? Bouncer is an easy way to filter your online feeds and remove stuff you don't want to see.

The best part: your algorithm takes notice of the content you aren't looking at and adapts over time to serve you more of what you actually like.

FEATURES

Filter by phrase: You can type in anything you want to filter out like “arrogance,” “pessimism,” “text-only posts,” emojis, or even the color “green.” Bouncer will gently remove relevant contents from your feed, without interrupting your scroll.

Bounce this post: see a post you don't like? Tap the trash can icon and Bouncer will suggest three reasons why you may find that post annoying. Tap on any of those reasons and that post, and everything like it, will disappear.

View filtered: see every post Bouncer has removed, along with a justification. If Bouncer made a mistake, you can filter or unfilter individual posts with a single tap.

No data collection: Bouncer does not collect or store any identifying data.

### 4/5 — Great idea, Excited for this

*2026-09-01*

Honestly love this idea, and it’s off to a great start. Unfortunately, the execution isn’t 100% there for me yet. My filter functionality hangs on diagnosing and times out pretty often. When it works it’s super cool, but not consistent for me yet. Definitely will return and check in after a few more updates!

### 5/5 — Surprisingly Good

*2026-06-28*

Wow I was a little doubtful at first but just after 5 minutes it started really nailing what I wanted to filter out. I love feeling empowered over the algorithm.

### 5/5 — Finally!!

*2026-04-08*

It feels like I’m finally enjoying Twitter again! So glad someone made this 🙌🏼

### 5/5 — awesome

*2026-04-08*

super useful, lets me see way less inflammatory and self promotional junk

### 5/5 — Love the mission

*2026-04-08*

I’ve stayed away from X for a long time because there’s a lot of fake and trolling content I can’t get rid of and it annoys me everytime I come across something like that. I really like the idea of being able to extract real usefulness from it in a way that feels personal to me. I also like how there’s no limitation on how I can input words into the filter (I don’t have to enter just suggested filters, but can come up with my own).
