No matter how many times you play the game, the CPU is damn near impossible to score a 3 on, their movement is far too sporadic, and character customization is for 2 players only, not all 3. Wanting to find another gem, we checked the studio’s other games and decided to try bouncy basketball. We soon realized that the game’s mechanics are poorly designed. It’s just tapping to get lucky. If you want to play a good DREAMON Studio game, play gladihoppers. If I could, I’d leave zero stars. ### 1/5 — Horrible gameplay *2025-08-28, version 1.4* The gameplay is terrible and the team stats make no sense, characters won’t grab the ball, and the ability to control the power or direction of your shot is terrible. The shooting system is genuinely luck and is terrible to play if you are looking for a game with skill. If you are looking for a competition and just so happen to have bad luck that day, you will lose and will get tilted very easily, because there is nothing you can do to win. Also, the game is terribly glitchy with the opposing team reaching through players to grab the ball, and the worst part is: THEY SUCCEED. Players can actually reach through other players to grab the ball. It’s infuriating. There are also too many ads with them every quarter. In case you didn’t know, QUARTERS ARE A MINUTE. Finally, the game is really unfaithful to actual basketball, with rules like goaltending being ignored. If both players are smart enough, it becomes a passing session with teams just camping to snatch the shot from the ground. I understand that the game was made many years ago, but it is unbearable to play in recent years. Even in the state it’s in. Game development can be hard, (I would know too) but I also know the last thing to do is give up. The fact that there are still people like me who love bouncy basketball proves that this is a great opportunity. Not to mention the recent popularity of the very similar “Basketball Random” game. Sure, I don’t actually know the problems you are facing in development but I think that the way to learn would be to push through and not give up. All of your games are really fun, and I still play the original.
