Then you go through the whole side of process and you try to add your child you try to add yourself as a guardian and you never get the email for you to accept the invite. Why can’t we just go back to paper where you signed something for your kid and you put your doctor’s name in blah blah blah and everything’s good to go stupid app to schools try to use to pass the buck. ### 1/5 — Difficult *2026-08-17, version 2.1.16* Our school switched over to Bound and it has been nothing but trouble trying to sign in and get my child signed up. Not an easy format to use. Then you have to re-sign in multiple times it has wiped out information that I’ve entered and now have to re-enter everything. ### 1/5 — Won’t sync to your phone *2026-08-16, version 2.1.16* The app is nice for viewing your school’s events, but incredibly inconvenient if you like to have your entire day/week in one calendar. The app has zero ability to create a link to send an event to your phone calendar. So you’re stuck looking in multiple places to see your days’ schedule. Only needing to upload a single physical… Then the Bound system happened. I like to think of myself as a smart man. A little above Forrest Gump. However, I realized that trying to file a claim at the USPS w/o a tracking number is easier than that. While I was stumped, I decided I need help. I asked my wife, friends, pastor, rabbi, congressman, and old church lady at the end of the cul-de-sac for help. I then sent my issues to my work tech support. They have sent it to a back-line team. Elon Musk is not studying this for government waste. I’d like to give this more star. But I’m not even sure it’s worth “a” star. Maybe a half moon… ### 1/5 — Can’t login *2026-08-14, version 2.1.15* Can’t log into the app click on the login button and it says you can’t login was logged in before to me. It takes steps to add a second parent. Most children have 2 active parents. It is so convoluted, strange multiple steps just to setup a player in the system so you can see info. Then multiple other steps to manually subscribe to a team I mean it’s just endless oddities of steps and links and menus and selections. 15 clicks just to get to an area where you see a schedule and even then you can’t even subscribe to a calendar from the app! If I could give it zero stars - I would. ### 1/5 — Super glitchy, poor functionality *2026-08-11, version 2.1.15* The new update (2.1.15) doesn’t seem any better than the last one. It’s been giving us fits all over the place. One example is showing the student that it’s not approved by their organization when it IS approved and they’re also not on an institution device, so you have to clear the cache and try again. I can’t even begin to say how many times we’ve had to do this in the past 2 weeks. The invite system still has a glitch so the app notifies me she’s accepted the invite but then shows on the user oage that she hasn’t. The first impression was selecting our teams and that was much more effective. But, the most important improvement for us was purchasing tickets. Having grands in multiple sports in multiple conferences was a nightmare. But, the first week of purchasing tickets, the improvement was very clear; simple and easy to use. I wish Universities would use Bound Sports for their ticket system. The systems they use are confusing and difficult to navigate and it seems ease for the user is not a consideration. I’m a M’town Bobcat win. I am able to see every single sport. Not just football. Everything. I can see all my bobcat scores and all the other scores and the new update with the top 25 is amazing. I love how we have the links and articles. Keep up on doing what you’re doing bound. With all the directions that we are pulled, it is nice to be able to purchase tickets, then assign them to the right child so that I can assure each kid gets where they’re supposed to be when they’re supposed to be there. Their customer service (Doug is a rockstar) is responsive and so helpful. I cannot rate this app high enough.
