## What is Bout2?

Bout2 is the fastest way to make plans with the people you already know.

Tired of plans dying in group chats? Bout2 turns "who's down for dinner Thursday?" into a real invitation — with a time, a place, and a clear list of who's in. Just the people you'd actually want to see this weekend.

WHY BOUT2

• Friends-only by design. You have the control to only see plans from people you've added as friends.
• Built for real life. Pickup basketball, Sunday dinner, a quick beer after work, a hike, a kid's birthday party — Bout2 is built for the kind of plans that actually happen.
• Clear RSVPs. Going, maybe, can't make it — your friends know what to expect, and so do you.
• Smart reminders. Bout2 sends you a reminder the day before and the day of an activity you said you'd attend, so nothing slips.
• Hosts get a heads-up. If you're hosting, you'll get a quick nudge the day of so you can confirm last minute preparations.
• Comments and reactions. Light, fast back-and-forth on the activity itself, instead of yet another group chat.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign up with email, Apple, Google, or Facebook.
2. Add a few friends — by email, by phone (optional), or by sharing a one-tap invite link.
3. Create a plan: title, time, place, and a quick note. Choose who to invite.
4. Your friends RSVP. You all get reminders so the plan actually happens.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.1.226 — 2026-09-05

What's new in 0.1.226:

• Say how many of you are coming. RSVP for your whole party — the count starts at just you and steps up, and you can name the people you're bringing if you want to.
• Hosts can ask a question. Tent or bunkhouse? Any allergies? How many chairs can you bring? Pick-one, pick-any, short answer or a number — and anyone who can see the activity can answer, whether or not they've RSVP'd yet.
• A signup sheet. The host lists what's needed and how many — a dozen donuts, three baked goods, two coffees — and guests claim what they'll bring or add something of their own.
• See what everyone else said. Answers and party sizes now show under each name in the Going list.
• Security and privacy hardening throughout.

### 0.1.224 — 2026-08-30

• A new Strava screen, from your profile: your training totals, a search across all your own workouts, the people you show up with most, and how many of your Strava activities never made it onto Bout2.
• Compare your own activities over time — pick a sport, pick one or two measures like distance, pace or heart rate, and see them charted on their own axes with every measure tabulated underneath. Defaults to the last 90 days.
• A copy button next to an activity's address, for when you'd rather paste it into your own maps app.
• All-day activities no longer linger in your feed the day after they finish, and they export to your calendar as one day instead of two.

### 0.1.223 — 2026-08-20

• Choose per group whether its activities show in your All feed — handy when one group posts a lot. It stays available any time you tap that group's chip.
• The feed now starts on This week for every group you tap, and only widens to All upcoming when that group has nothing in the next 7 days.

### 0.1.222 — 2026-08-18

• Host an activity without being counted as Going — for calendars you publish for everyone else
• One tap on your own activity to switch between hosting-and-going and hosting-only
• Pick which group your feed opens on, so being in two groups doesn't send you back to All
• Group views now show everything coming up, not just this week
• Day-before reminders say the right thing: "don't forget" if you've RSVP'd, "RSVP now" if you haven't
• People who were invited but never answered now get a day-before reminder too
• Calendar sync fixes: correct times, correct all-day dates, and only events you've RSVP'd yes to

### 0.1.221 — 2026-08-14

What's new in 0.1.221:

• Ask everyone who hasn't RSVP'd to respond — one tap, once a day
• Let group members add people, so you're not the only one keeping a roster current
• Add someone to a group even if you aren't friends yet — no friend request first
• See how connected someone is: friend count, their friends, their groups, and what they host
• Tap any profile's Hosted or Attended count to browse those activities
• Clearer errors when something goes wrong — the app now tells you whether you're offline or the server is slow
