Website much better *2023-05-20* Apps are supposed to make things convenient… however this app fails to do that. EVERYTIME i open it.. theres a “join now” screen that opens and takes up the entire screen… in order to get past it you have to click “join now” which then re directs you to sign up page .. and theennn if you have an account already you have to click out of that and finally you get the option to log in. Now the worst part is that even after you’ve logged in….. everytimee you try to refresh a page to see updated odds or to see new time stamp… this same page shows up… and you have to again click join now and then exit from the signup page it re directs you to. TO THE APP DEV: Take off the Sign up page popup and just have the option up top!!! ### 3/5 — Not that polished, odd process to withdraw funds *2023-01-18, version 1.1.2* The app is pretty basic, but straightforward when it comes to placing bets. The oddest part is getting your cash out. Personally, I created a matchpay account, transferred the money there, linked my Venmo, and activated offers for the money I had. People essentially Venmo you for your matchpay balance. It’s strange at first, but easy after you do it once. ### 2/5 — Deposit/Withdrawal *2022-12-05, version 1.1.2* Now tell me why, the app lets you deposit money from your credit/debit card into your account but when you want to withdraw your winnings , THEY GIVE NO OPTION FOR BANK WIRING OR EVEN JUST WITHDRAWING TO THE SAME CARD YOU DEPOSITED WITH. It’s such a hassle for a person who doesn’t know how to use crypto currency like bitcoin or tether. Like just have an option to withdraw to the same card you use to deposit with like every other sports betting app??? FYI. I had to download blockchain, create a private wallet, copy the wallet ‘address’, paste it into bovada, transfer (withdraw) the money to blockchain as a bitcoin, then after it transferred you have to sell the bitcoin and add a payment onto blockchain. Be for real now… Like what dumb app lets you deposit with a card but there’s no option to withdraw to the same card. only way you can get your money is through a check but the thing is installment fee is $100. IM TRYING TO WITHDRAW $30 and now i got to pay $100 in fees to withdraw my money?!?!? Deleting this dumb app. DELETE DELETE DELETE EVERYONE who is under the age of 21 but over the age of 18 or to those who can’t use fanduel/draftkings USE FLIFF. The app is 1000% better than this weird app. PSI to the creator of the app… add a method where people don’t have to use crypto currency. ### 3/5 — Money transfer *2022-11-27, version 1.1.2* They always seem to have a problem transferring money from a card. Claiming failed attempts. Then after we supposed to have fix that not the log in screen don't even show up on the app smh. At this point i just want to withdraw my funds . Yall have took the fun out of it ### 1/5 — Scam!! *2022-08-04, version 1.1.2* I placed a futures bet 9 months ago and won. When I went to collect they had buried my betting slip making it difficult to find. It said I couldn’t collect until July 31st. On august 2 I logged in to collect and suddenly the slip is totally gone and I can’t see any of my past bets/deposits/withdrawals past 31 days. I used the live chat to ask where my winnings went and they claimed I had bet using bonus points not cash (which is a lie) and that my winnings were all expired because I didn’t spend the bonus points in time. They wouldn’t provide any proof of this or show me any of my prior betting slips or transactions. The chat “lost connection” in the middle of this conversation and they’ve stopped replying to my emails. They have stolen $5,000 of winnings from me. This company is a total scam so BEWARE ### 1/5 — Glitches ALL THE TIME *2022-07-04, version 1.1.2* This website/app is straight trash. I can’t even count how many times it has glitched or froze in the middle of a poker hand or live blackjack hand. Tried to contact customer service multiple times to refund my money but haven’t ONCE received any compensation. They’ll tell you everything looks fine on their end and then a week later admit they were having technical difficulties. ### 1/5 — charged extra on bank statement *2022-06-18, version 1.1.2* In the beginning the app was working I had no issues with my card or betting on games. Just recently I deposited some money into my account I was charged for the transaction already the day I deposited the money on my account. Just yesterday I was charged again for that same transaction even though the money was already charged on my card the day I deposited the money on my bovada account. This is the first time I had an issue with the app having money being taken twice. ### 3/5 — Bugs *2022-05-31, version 1.1.2* I’ve had a lot of success using BOVADA, but recently I’ve been experiencing A Lot of problems. I like to make Live bets on just small stuff, like a inning, quarter in a game or just a half but now my app won’t load, then a hour later or 2 it will just magically work again. It’s been cutting out a lot. It goes to Spanish and I can’t even speak Spanish more enough read it. Just minor stuff happening daily recently have really ruined this app for me. I use to tell people to get it but now I can’t even use it hardly. I love sport betting, and would really love for them to fix this ### 3/5 — Technical Issues *2022-05-30, version 1.1.2* I am a player with over 6 million points and I am at the Hall of Fame level. All that really means, so far, for me, other than the nominal reward points give out, is that I lost tens and tens of thousands of dollars. Being part of the HOF level has had no benefit, that I can bring. The aforementioned is a preface to explain that the site should not have so many technical difficulties, given the large amount of monies that are being exchanged, or mostly deposited into BOVADA, for that matter. It’s a unnerving to either not be able to sign into my account, which is way too often, or finally get in only see my account showing a $1.53 balance, rather than the $912 that should be showing. ### 3/5 — Many bugs *2022-05-28, version 1.1.2* I love Bovada. It’s one of the best online sites. Lately been having a lot of annoying minor issues. My app Katie changing into Spanish automatically and the button to change languages back is nowhere to be found. Every time i refresh the site i have to clear the sign up or log in screen which costs me valuable time when placing live wagers. I also wish they had a notification system to notify you when your bets have been settled (win or loss) and the exact result. A lot of times I’ll bet on international sports and never know what the final score was, just that i won or lost my bet. ### 2/5 — Pretty bad *2022-05-13, version 1.1.2* Only reason I’m giving it an additional star is because it’s the best available bookie in MA. The app is pretty bad. I’ve had many parlays fail to place last second. Constantly have to refresh and close the app. The lines are pretty bad compared to most other sites. With sports, you can’t make any quarter points type bets and there’s a minimum on your winnings. ### 2/5 — Needs to be updated *2022-05-04, version 1.1.2* Kind of buggy rather use my browser because this freezes up too much and is really slow. For all the money they make you would think they pay to build a decent working app ### 1/5 — Scam *2022-04-07, version 1.1.2* Scam beware of this app do not try to bet because they will steal your money currently I had made several bets in which I lost $200 but today I made a bet on a soccer game in which if I won the bet I would win $500 at the end of the game I won the bet and when I checked the app waiting for my payment they canceled my bet supposedly due to an error they are thieves because when I made the bet the app did not give me any type of warning that there was a problem with the bet or something for the style and they waited until the end of the game and when they saw that I won they canceled my bet and stole $500 from me applications how is it they should be out of the market they just steal people's money ### 1/5 — Worse app to download MAJOR SCAM !!!!! *2022-03-30, version 1.1.2* I hate this app do not use it at all this app is a scam they will disable your account and take your money it’s not worth it you can’t call nobody to discuss your issue just a chat with people who really don’t care and try to make it seem like your the problem when really they out to take your money please listen and do not download this app I wouldn’t want nobody to go through what I went through I thought this app would be a good way to make money for me and my family but end up taking a lost after I actually won a bet Chicago vs the wizards easy win but with a terrible betting service ### 1/5 — CASINO SCAM *2022-03-12, version 1.1.2* Blackjack will steal your money and not even hide it. They claim it is dealt randomly.. its not. They may let you win a couple in the beginning to make you think it’s real but if you make any money whatsoever at first, get out. Once they get to the point where they stop letting you win, you are destined to lose. This would usually be after you lose in a split or double down situation where you want to get some money back. Any time you increase the wager or do multiple hands it’s an automatic loss (usually a blackjack). Dealer will be dealt 20 the majority of the time while you are given 13-16 every hand and you will always bust but the dealer somehow manages to never bust on 15/16. A 20, even 21 will usually somehow be a push. Don’t keep playing thinking it’ll turn around because it won’t. Once you get towards the end of your balance you’ve already lost. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fake/lying about promotions *2023-06-12* Shortly after downloading the app i received an email from BOVADA saying if i filled out a review on the website i would receive a 5$ bonus onto my account, after never receiving the bonus i reached out to try and figure out why and after about a month of trying i finally got ahold of someone via chat, and they were zero help. They were rude, and told me i was a liar even though i had proof. They refused to help me, even going as far to say because i haven’t spent a lot of money on the app that’s why they won’t help me. Point it’s you guy send out these emails then don’t honor your deal and call customers liars. Horrible app, horrible customer service. Will never use again. ### 1/5 — WORST BETTING APP *2023-04-19* Where to start??? Everything is worst especially UI, website isn’t great either… Yall make decent money have some pride already it’s high time to hire a professional who can make a decent apps and a website. Everytime I refresh the app it keep asking me to log back in SMH you know how annoying that is? Do you folks ever test your stuff before dumping on us??? DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE *2023-02-21, version 1.1.2* Took my first ever dabble in sports betting during the Super Bowl and had surprisingly good luck on my first few bets. HOWEVER, Brovada has locked all of my winnings behind a condition where I would need to bet more in order to withdrawal! I did some further research and this company has extensively shady practices. It’s unfathomable how they are allowed on the App Store much less a functioning company. Don’t go anywhere near Brovada. Don’t give them a nickel. I wouldn’t even create an account. ### 1/5 — Fraud and Theft *2023-02-15, version 1.1.2* I created an account with my friend as a referral and his account was disabled due to him having a past due balance (however that can happen). I didn’t have any issues until I tried to withdrawal my winnings and they locked MY account and then told me I can’t get my funds until the person I used as a referral pay their account! Terrible company Terrible app ### 1/5 — Do not even download *2023-01-24, version 1.1.2* The absolute worst thing on the market! Playing blackjack against the computer is like saying, “yes I am a fool” because this app can pull 6 cards straight and they all adds up to be less than 21, but let you pull one card, it’s always a number to put you over 21. Please don’t play on a day like today when they send incentives to your email, just know this is a day that they are trying to recover some of their losses, therefore you aren’t going to win. They make you think that you will win by allowing you to win a couple of games only to take it all back! The worst scam out here!! Please believe the low rating that they have, we are telling you the truth! Bt makes it almost impossible to get your money off. Their blackjack is also rigged. They will always get get the right card they need to beat you when it matters most. I go to real casinos on a daily to play blackjack, the way the steal your money is COMPLETELY unrealistic. I put 1 grand in and worked it up to $1850 and BOVADA just shut my account down and took all my money saying I was violating their terms of refer a friend. I have literally never referred a friend they just took it all. You can’t talk to anyone on the phone because somehow they think they will get COVID over the phone. You can’t email them because they won’t respond and the live chat people are just robots that can’t help you with anything ### 1/5 — Third world app *2022-10-16, version 1.1.2* To start, application software and mechanics don’t respond correctly, constantly refreshes to join now page logging you out … account got locked and my password that I used a few times to login with is now not the correct password, “forgot my password” option is selecting incorrect birthday no matter how many times I change it, so many flaws to this app, promotion is a scam obviously, you must gamble 5x your deposit+bonus to be able to withdrawal deposit. I like this application better than espn because there are fewer commercials, and it's also much easier to read and navigate. With that said, BOVADA Sports is a must have application for any avid smart phone user that's into sports. Lastly, I'll always use and trust BOVADA Sports. You can get info on all sports and also set up your pools for any sport. They also have contest that you can play for money . You can play just to play also. It has been a great app for catching LIVE coverage of top games across the country. It keeps up with real time coverage, no issues with video delays. My cable went out recently during the Purdue/Virginia men’s basketball game and I went directly to the BOVADA Sports app to finish watching the game. Plus it’s convenient for checking scores and tv lineup broadcast times.
