### 2/5 — Bowel mover

*2019-08-14, version 7.5.0*

It’s great in principle but I don’t find it intuitive, I’ve had it for a week and it seems overly complicated. I might just as well make up a spreadsheet.

### 4/5 — Suggestion

*2019-05-31, version 7.5.0*

Biggest problem is forgetting to complete it. Food diary section may be helpful.

### 2/5 — Incomplete

*2018-07-27, version 7.5.0*

Options are limited categorically, as well as, tracking categories themselves. Color, medications, and quantities per visit, would be good tracking information.

### 3/5 — Water Glass

*2017-07-10, version 7.1.5*

Can we change the water intake from glasses to ounces?

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2016-11-05, version 7.1.5*

Thanks for adding iOS 10 support, and the new design. The app looks great!

### 3/5 — Welcome update, still some baffling omissions

*2016-10-26, version 7.1.5*

This app hadn't been updated for three years, so I was legitimately shocked when I saw it in my Updates tab. It fixed a few little iOS 10 issues, and brought about some minor UI changes.

However, two years after the larger-screened iPhones, the app still isn't optimised for them. The whole UI is blown up and pixelated, which is a shame.

If you only update this app once more – ever – please allow it to support the larger iPhones.

### 5/5 — Works for me!

*2015-06-16, version 6.4.4*

The BM Pro app is exactly what I needed. It's simple to use and logs information needed by me and my doctor. During times of stress, the last thing one wants is complexity, instead a straightforward and easy to use approach is the way to go. THANK YOU!!

### 5/5 — Best app ever!!

*2015-03-30, version 6.4.4*

I have an autoimmune disease and one of my major issues is my bowels. I love love that I can keep track of this as I'm working on improving my digestion.
I think it's awesome that you can add whatever else you want to track. I'm tracking my mood, sleep, energy, sex, supplements etc. the possibilities are endless!! Great app!!
Took me a minute to get the hang of it and figure it out but once I did its super easy.
I haven't rated an app in a long time, this was worth my time!! Thank you so much!! Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Superb App

*2014-11-22, version 6.4.4*

I have a condition, UC, which is similar to Chron's Disease, and makes it very important for me to keep track of how my digestive system is working. This app has made it extremely easy for me to keep track of my symptoms and what is happening with my system. Although you can make notes, it gives you an easy to read visual display of what is happening with your gastrointestinal system. There so many things you can track with this to keep on top of your well being. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to keep track of what is going on with their body and especially anyone who is dealing with an IBS condition.

### 5/5 — Just what my doctor wants!

*2014-11-21, version 6.4.4*

My physician has asked that I track my bowel movements using the Bristol Scale to help with managing treatment for colitis. The earlier version of Bowel Mover worked okay with me adding in a note the scale number. With this update this app does EXACTLY what my physician asks for. Thanks! I recommend this for anyone with gastrointestinal issues.

### 5/5 — Even better than before

*2014-11-15, version 6.4.4*

This app had been good before the Nov 2014 update. I had written a review of the previous version, after having contacted the developer with some suggestions. They were obviously already on top of things, because they made the new version even better than I had anticipated.

They were very responsive and communicative. Now the app can be customized for tracking almost any activity, which is a terrific feature. Hats off to the developers... they did a FANTASTIC job with something simple yet elegant. Well done folks!

### 5/5 — Helping me deal with Crohn's

*2014-05-27, version 5.0.0*

I wondered if there was an app like this when I was diagnosed with Crohn's ~10 months ago and ended up writing out a very tedious journal to keep track of my symptoms. This app makes my life much easier in that regard. It's not perfect, but it does 90% of what I need it to do, so thanks!

### 5/5 — I LOVE THIS APP - REVIEW BY DR.G

*2014-03-05, version 5.0.0*

As a dermatologist, I recognize the importance of proper nutrition, digestion, and elimination in skin health. This app is a wonderful way for someone to keep track of hydration status; the tougher the poops, the more you should drink water! It is easy to use.
Only two comments: developer might consider incorporating the Bristol poop scale and also, there doesn't seem to be a way to edit an entry once it's made.
Other than that - LOVE the concept and the look!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not working

*2022-07-24, version 7.5.0*

This paid for app was really good for a few weeks but it’s now not working. I can not find a contact email. Have tried contacting via the help guide and it comes back with a warning . Icons keep changing after I have submitted them. Guess it’s a bug . Deleted twice and reinstalled. Shame. Definitely need to make it easier for back up support .

### 1/5 — DONT BUY. BUGS AND HARD TO USE

*2021-01-12, version 7.5.0*

This app doesn’t work. Many errors and not easy to use

### 1/5 — Mise a jour ?

*2020-11-15*

Pourquoi ce n'est plus mis à jour alors que l'application est super ?

### 1/5 — Not able to view or edit entries

*2019-10-10, version 7.5.0*

I may be doing it wrong but I can’t see anyway to go back and edit or view individual entries, I’m lazy I like the app interface to be self explanatory therefore it is goodbye from me.

### 1/5 — No idea how to use

*2016-01-20, version 6.4.4*

That tutorial is useless. I see nothing in the tutorial that matches what I see on the screen. I make entries save them and they disappear

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2014-09-05, version 5.0.0*

First, please don't charge for an app only to say later, "for more functionality, please buy our other app."

Second, you show two people on your icon, and even have an "edit people" section, yet there is NO way to add a edition all people. Useless for me and misleading of you.

### 1/5 — To hard to use

*2013-10-18, version 5.0.0*

To hard to use

### 1/5 — App broken

*2013-10-05, version 5.0.0*

Latest update asks for pass code but doesn't give you a key pad to enter the numbers.

### 1/5 — Not very intuitive

*2012-03-29, version 3.1.2*

I was looking forward to using this app as I've had issues in this area I've tried playing around with it but I think I'll just look for a different one. I use trackers for other things (spark people for example), so maybe I just had certain expectations that weren't met. I'm just disappointed that I didn't try out the lite version first.

### 1/5 — If you really want to be serious.

*2012-01-31, version 3.1.2*

Honestly, you've got far too few texture categories for this to be a truly serious app. And what IS "normal" anyway? AND do people really know what "normal" is? If they eat the same diet their entire life they may think they are normal ... well normal for them, anyway ... yet the proper fiber intake yields a normal most may not have experienced. A certain fast-food chicken chunk causes me to have the dreaded clay-poo. Where is that in you're serious app? And if you don't suffer from hypothyroidism then you have no idea what "hard" truly is. "_____ a brick" doesn't mean size, it means hardness! The ancient Chinese herbalists believed you should go after every meal ... is that normal? So if you are going to be taken serious about this, then you better do some more poo-research, or at the very least, more poo-surveys.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best BM tracker!

*2022-02-15, version 7.5.0*

I work as a nursing assistant, so I'm comfortable tracking poops for my residents or their BMs. I never thought of tracking my own BMs, but it's interesting to see how it changes throughout the day. I can't recommend this enough!

### 5/5 — Hugely helpful tracker

*2021-06-19, version 7.5.0*

Some of the data is awkward to enter but if you enter faithfully makes invaluable record of the progress of a UC flare. Once you get the hang of it; very easy. Ability to email right from app to doctor is very useful. Also nice that you can backup data by email. Definitely recommend for those in a UC flare.

Was in remission for a while and discontinued use but really appreciate it again now during another flare. In addition to tracking helps with mindfulness about progress or not.

### 5/5 — Useful

*2020-12-14*

Vowels are health. Don’t neglect it. Thanks fir your app.

### 5/5 — Fantastic App!

*2018-11-08, version 7.5.0*

I’ve used TracknShare for several years, but have recently just installed this app. I find it gets right to the point and makes it so easy to track what’s going wrong with me. It’s nice and simple to use. Also great to make easy backups of your data.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2018-10-03, version 7.5.0*

Love this app. It has been so helpful in quickly and easily tracking symptoms. What I love the most is the ability to add other things I wish to track and being able to choose from several formats and change labels. It becomes an all in one place to track. Thank-you

### 5/5 — Great for tracking last BM

*2018-07-09, version 7.5.0*

Helps me keep on track.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-07-05, version 7.5.0*

Easy to use. Has more functions than I use but the ones I do are awesome!

### 5/5 — Easy to use & you can add categories to track

*2018-06-12, version 7.5.0*

This app is very easy to use. My poops can go days without coming and I like to track what else I am doing to help or hinder that. An example is taking magnesium. I have my own made up category of when I take magnesium and I can track that versus when I actually pooped. All in all it helps me track down how to keep my poops how I want them the best I can.

### 5/5 — Very helpful! From an IBS sufferer...

*2018-01-11, version 7.4.2*

Very helpful in tracking my bowel movements/habits to see trends and notice triggers for my IBS.

### 5/5 — Good tracker

*2017-12-19, version 7.4.2*

It’s easy to track whatever I need.
