You can run tvheadend on a linux device, plugin in a tv card and an antenna and you have full a free DVR with bowerbird. This app is designed for simplicity and ease of set up. The UI should be familiar if you have used any DVR. Browse the program guide, watch live tv. Thats on two appletv and an iPhone. Great job so far, love the pause and UX. ### 2/5 — Needs more work *2021-06-13, version 1.50* Very good effort so far, but not quite ready as a replacement for TvhClient ### 1/5 — Doesn't work at all *2021-02-24, version 1.50* Using iPad connects ok to TVheadend on Rasberry Pi 4, lists the channels but that's as far as it gets. No channel will play. The EPG is all empty and so are the recording lists. The scheduled recordings list shows what's due to be recorded but nothing else. (App works for watching recorded shows, although without the Guide you can’t set it to record either.) I have an iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 13.1.2 **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback.
