It counts strikes as 30 point, rather than adding the next two rolls to that frame. And for spares then it double counts the roll before clearing the deck, rather than the next roll after the spare. I wish it did score correctly as a really *really* nice interface and such. If this is fixed then I would love to use it. **Developer response:** Hello nochinator, Based on your review, it seems that you have selected the “Current Frame” scoring method. This is one of the available scoring options, and if you prefer the standard bowling scoring method, please select “General” when creating a game. Please make sure you are using the app properly before making assumptions. ### 1/5 — Why do you need a credit card? *2025-01-25* The description is mis-leading. Appears to be free after you enter a email address and password then the app asks for credit card information. States that card won’t be charged but will not let you go furthur in the registration process then on to use the app without CC Info. **Developer response:** Hello, Tanked out. This is an App Store policy and is not related to the "BowlingScore" app. "BowlingScore" is free to download and enjoy, and it has never required any payments. ### 3/5 — Exactly what looking for, but… *2024-06-14* This is exactly what I was looking for, an app to track my family’s bowling scores, but I am not able to rename Player 2 & 3 with my kids names and have the changes save. You provide an option to edit the names, but upon changing and clicking OK it still says Player 2 and Player 3 no matter how many times I try. Fix that and you have yourself a great app that’s better than the others out there that only track the score and stats for one player. **Developer response:** Hello ryangeorge19. I'm sorry that I checked the review late and am only now responding. This app was developed to record family and friend scores together, and the bug where the name did not change was fixed in 1.3.2. Thank you. ### 3/5 — 3 things this app need *2023-09-18* This app need 3 things and would be a 4.5 Star easy because I don’t give 5 Star to a app (that’s me). Before I said what 3 things this app needs, I want to say it’s VERY intuitive! Clean and easy to use, excellent! Ok now this app need: 1. A better icon - Why? Because the app is pretty good o better than other apps in here that do the same thing. So, right now this icon doesn’t make any favor to the inside stuff. When people look for apps, they tend to look the icon first and then later the whole app so if the icon isn’t good/pretty/striking, people will not download the app. The icon looks childish, looks CHEAP. 2. A dark mode option - Why? Because simply we’re in year 2023 and all the apps right now should’ve that feature enable right out of the gate. 3. A one time payment to remove the ads - Why? Please keep this in mind, and we hope you continue to enjoy bowling with our app. ### 4/5 — Missing One Main Feature *2025-03-02* I love the overall app. I like the chart how it shows trends over a select date range but it’s missing a couple features but one main one. First one would be, it would be nice to not have to set the players each and every time. My fiance and I bowl together every week so it would be nice to click on a league and then they auto populate with our names. But the main feature that it’s missing is total average! I use the pin to track my misses (7-10) and hits. My deepest apologies to the developer for the original review as seen below. This is fantastic then! The ui is intelligently designed, the score inputing is very clear with virtually no learning curve. The one change I can request is an exclamation mark pop thing that brings up an explanation when going to create a game. It would help new users not be confused by it as much (not that this excuses my initial reaction, but it would likely prevent similar things in the future). As for the actual structure of it I wouldn’t have it any other way. THANK YOU!
