The one thing that’s missing is the ability to filter your scores by lane or pair. A lot of times you want to check your history on a certain pair, but you can’t do it unless you manually look through every week. There should be a way to filter it. **Developer response:** Hi there! Definitely recommend, as it is also super sleek and user friendly! ### 5/5 — Great app *2022-07-15* Had some issues with it not working after the recent update, but thanks to the developers help I am able to use it again. Great for tracking scores! **Developer response:** Hi there! There is a known issue in version 6.7.3 with an underlying dependency that Bowlr uses. I am working with others to get it fixed ASAP! One work around other users have reported resolving the issue is uninstalling and reinstalling Bowlr (all of your data will not be lost). With that said, I know that isn't an acceptable long term solution, so a better fix will come out eventually. One suggestion though. *2021-04-26* Would it be possible to add the ability to add notes to bowling balls? Developer is easily reachable and open to suggestions. I recommend this app to the athletes I coach and use the app to track my bowling. Boooooooooooo ### 1/5 — Should show as a paid app *2020-09-18* The free version works well. Takes a little getting used to a few quirks but easily maneuverable. The app quits working after so many games. Didn’t show that this was a paid app. If it did the rating would be high but don’t try to elude people into thinking this was a free app. **Developer response:** Hi there! Sorry about any confusion! It is definitely not my intention to elude anyone. Originally the app was a pay up front style of app, but I received many requests from users who wanted to try out the app before they bought it. After surveying the user base, it seemed listing the app for free and then providing a way to upgrade (via the app store's in-app purchase capability) if they wanted to keep going with it was what many users preferred. I do realize that Apple doesn't make that very easy to see in the store listing. I am open to any ideas you might have on how I can make this more clear (for example, maybe I should move the part in the app store description where it explains the 12 game limit for the free version to be higher up). I certainly don't want people to feel cheated or eluded once they download the app so any thoughts or ideas you have would be great! ### 1/5 — Stats *2020-05-24, version 5.1.1* It only calculates stats for the first day I bowled. Even though it saved and lists my second day when you look at stats it’s only for the first day ### 1/5 — Can’t upgrade to pro *2019-08-29, version 3.1.1* So this lets you average 12 games. Lot of typing work just for adding 12 numbers and dividing by 12. ### 1/5 — Shady Scam *2019-08-27* The app kept asking for my Apple password. I (stupidly) typed it in, then Apple locked my Apple ID for suspicious activity. While trying to unlock it and change my password, I got some security questions that I didn’t recognize. App didn’t even work well. Can’t go back and edit a frame’s score if you tapped it in wrong. Don’t install this garbage. **Developer response:** Interesting. That does sound concerning. So when I added had to type all my information and league with scores from the standing sheet. When I wanted to change back to score frame-by-frame, everything I typed in was not saved. How can I go back to frame by frame to enter scores during league night? I like it frame by frame because it also shows pin that was left. **Developer response:** Hi there! It looks ugly, clunky, and unorganized, and it is a bit of a pain to use. I wish there were options to name games, change the settings for multiple games at a time, have additional stats for individual frames, and much more. You can track your spares and learn what you need to practice. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to track boards. So I can see what happened last time I bowled on that pair of lanes. The boards are in the app, but I don’t see where I can pull up those stats other than opening the games one at a time. I would like to see the board history for all games per lane. If possible. Another great feature of this app is the developer actually reads and responds to your reviews Do you think you could set it up so we can export spare stats. It would be very beneficial is many ways. You’re even able to track where your ball crossing at the line, arrows and downlane. To say I am blown away with this app is an understatement, being able to break it down to what ball I am throwing by frame is awesome, and the targeting system is great, helps me remember how I break down certain shots. I really appreciate it! ### 5/5 — Best Bowling Statistics App by Far *2022-10-14* I have been using this app to track all of my scores for the past four seasons. It is by far the best score keeping app available. The developer is also extremely responsive. I requested a new feature and it was added in the next update. PinPal does not compare to this app and is clearly stuck in the early 2000s.
