### 4/5 — Good Start, Room to Get Better

*2026-01-12*

This app is great on a variety of levels, but definitely has areas of improvement. My biggest wishlist items are:
• option to start with the screen displaying all pins and click pins that were knocked down vs. starting with all pins down and having to click the ones that were still standing
• a "Spare" button - so I don't have to click every single pin if they're all knocked down
• more user-friendly UI for teams
• ability to create "matches" where both bakers and individuals can be tracked within the same event

### 3/5 — Mostly good

*2024-10-01*

There’s lots to like about this app but it’s not entirely user friendly and contains some bugs. The bug that affects me most is when trying to select bowlers for bakers teams. The scroll wheel lands on a bowler but when entered, either selects the bowler before or after the one I intended.

### 4/5 — Great features and detail

*2024-09-19*

I like that you can add teammates, balls, houses, leagues, patterns, and marks. I love the detail!!! The one thing I wish was different, I wish the stats and game were integrated to populate on other devices that has the app installed. I also lost an entire week of team games and I was unable to recover it. I’m unsure how that happened. This is among the best personal stat apps ever in any sport!

### 3/5 — Useful, but just wish had a few things.

*2022-06-21*

I’ve been using this app recently and enjoyed it greatly. I like to keep track as much as I can, and it’s been great. There are just a few things I wish it did, or (if it does it already) was easier to understand how to make it work:
1) When using on iPad, I would love to see the app implement some sort of landscape mode. As I usually use my iPad with a keyboard, would be nice if the app implemented a landscape orientation.
2) I would like to adjust the handicap. When I mark pins/score for a sanctioned league, there is usually some sort of handicap (a percentage of score - average). I can see a handicap on the side when marking pins/score, but haven’t seen how to adjust it.

Great app if you really want to track scores, positioning, targets. I would like to just see an update to enhance usability experience on iPad and ability to more readily adjust handicap when marking pins or setting handicap score and percentage to the event (i.e. - when setting up that it is a sanctioned league event, field to say handicap is 80% of 200, for example, and have handicap automatically set based on the running average for the event.)

### 4/5 — App is almost perfect

*2021-02-22*

This app was great for tracking my high school bowling team’s season. The problem I’m having is exporting and printing now that the season is over. Any help in this would be appreciated%

### 3/5 — Poor support and missing functionality

*2020-08-27*

Poor support:
I emailed the support team to ask about the functionality I’m going to list below after purchasing this 30 dollar app. Mark the President replies back basically saying you’ll figure it out. I replied back asking for details as I had already looked and no response still a few days later.

Functionality:
There is a lot in this app some I feel is too much but I prefer that over too little. What I liked in this app was the ability for break point tracking. What I feel is a big miss as it’s a tedious action each frame is the ability to set your targets per lane and have them repeat each frame on that lane. It is highly common to have different standing and target lines per lane (left vs right). This app makes it so I have to swap the settings back and forth each shot. Not horrible I agree but it’s one more thing I need to do vs focusing on other bowlers or an adjustment etc.

I also feel this should be able to cary over details into game 2 and 3.

Display suggestion: the target details below the frames is a great idea but it gets cluttered. Perhaps instead of repeating the data if you hit your marks perhaps a check mark showing it was good. Just something to break up and he display.

The reason why the features I mentioned above are a big deal to me is, bowling stats apps should not be a distraction. It should be a quick change as lines or balls change but after that mark score and done. Not shift hack and forth etc. this takes focus away from your own game and time away from watching other bowlers lines for lane transition.

Biggest reason why this is rated lower was the support response. Not sure if I’ll continue with this app or another. Will see if the support and features I mentioned improve.

**Developer response:** I apologize if you thought my response was less than adequate to your general usage questions. We get a lot of spam questions and the ones you asked were the basic functionality of the app. I’ll gladly explain advanced features and try to understand your concerns so we can find a solution. Enhancements to the app via the app are always appreciated!

### 4/5 — Great app

*2019-03-16*

Love that this tracks Baker games. Would be 5 stars if you could merge with other databases. We use 2 iPads to track our teams and the information can’t be merged together. Would also like to be able to filter statistics. Still an outstanding app for tracking collegiate bowling.

### 3/5 — Still learning.....but.....

*2018-01-04*

Seems very detailed and seems to show a ton of info, but as a fairly new user you will make mistakes in entering info. I still can seem to delete an event, game or bowler if you make a mistake and want to start over or redo something. Tried the help section, nothing, just a user manual. For $30 on an app, some support option would be nice.

**Developer response:** Deleting any item can be achieved by swiping left on the item. This applies to events, games, equipment, etc. We can always be reached at support@bowlsheet.com

### 4/5 — Updates

*2018-01-03*

I think this software is well thought out. I hope they update it to work native with the new larger iPhone screen size. I don't like it stretched out.

### 4/5 — Bad product

*2017-05-01, version 2.4.27*

Wish I hadn't paid for this. It continually locks up (locked up right now) so it's unusable.

Update: the app works fine on an updated iPad. Probably the best bowling score tracking software out there...even now over 5 years later. People are always impressed when seeing all the functionality.

### 2/5 — Chaz velasquez

*2015-12-03, version 2.4.7*

Stats are very inaccurate . Waste of money if they can be that badly off

### 2/5 — Not what I expected... For 30$

*2014-12-25, version 2.4.7*

I expected perfection for an info tracker that is worth 30$. I noticed a bug when you write notes in each bowlers shoes it crashes the game. I couldn't believe my eyes. I expected no bugs for what I paid. Fix this!

### 4/5 — BUYERS BEWARE

*2014-09-25, version 2.4.7*

App is buggy, stats inaccurate, and cannot be backed up and transferred to a new phone (from what I can see). Most app support links have been disabled or crash, and emails to tech support go unanswered. If you're a serious bowler who'd rather spend $30 on a poorly written app than putting it towards a new ball, this is the app for you!

### 3/5 — Bowlsheet2

*2014-02-13, version 2.4.7*

Nice app has lots of info could use more tabs to open features and information. Very helpful in keeping track of what is working and not. Would like to sink both iPhone and iPad with same data.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Too confusing for me

*2024-02-04, version 2.4.51*

Spent $29.99 on this and couldn’t get it to do anything. At least have a tutorial on how to use this app. All I could figure out was putting in the bowlers information.

### 1/5 — Does not allow me to edit scores

*2023-10-27*

When I tap the frame it enters a strike like it’s supposed to, but it doesn’t allow me to edit the scoring of the frame. High expectations for this app, but even the most basic function of scoring does not work.

### 1/5 — Overly Complicated total waste of money

*2020-09-06*

Wasn’t able to use it the first week of bowling since it was taking too long to just set up...figured fine, i’ll just enter scores later..nope.. can’t do that. stick with PinPal..much easier and cheaper. Bowl Sheet is a total waste of money. btw.....one can STILL be a serious bowl yet not need all the extras.....you missed the point....i wanted to add my first weeks bowling scores...but can’t JUST add the 3 game scores because i didn’t BOTHER to write down each frame as i was bowling until i figured out HOW TO EVEN USE THIS APP.....

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Yes, the app is meant for serious bowlers with in-depth reporting. Simple frame 10 score only entry is best suited for other apps without all of the advanced tracking. We have multiple ways to contact our support for questions. You can instant message from our website, call our direct phone #, or email us at support@bowlsheet.com.

### 1/5 — Very disappointing cannot even write review. Bugs!!!!!

*2020-01-08*

Cannot even see these characters when entering. Good grief!

**Developer response:** Please contact support and I will gladly help figure out what could be the issue here. My assumption is perhaps you have larger text enabled on your device?

### 1/5 — Bowler

*2016-02-05, version 2.4.7*

I bought this app today for my iPhone and I can’t get it to work after following the directions. What a rip off. Save your money. Don’t buy this piece of crap!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Lost Data

*2013-12-30, version 2.4.6*

This program is not worth the near $ 30.00 that it costs. There are better programs that cost less and are more reliable. PinPal for instance will track all of your data and actually backup your data. PinPal will also allow you to share your data from different devices such as your iPhone or iPad, everything that is one device is seen on the other.

BowlSheet2 does not allow this; if you actually try to recover from the BowlSheet2 backup file you will be surprised when none of your data is actually there. All the work that you put into creating a bowlers profile will be lost: bowling balls, drill patterns, and ball layouts. Not to mention any of the scoring information that you would hope to have as future reference.

I have used PinPal for over two years and have not lost one bit of information, we can also share that information with my wife and son by emailing the backup to them. I have owned BowlSheet2 for one week and have lost all the data three times during that time period. I foolishly continued to input all the bowlers’ information into the program to include pictures of bowling balls to have the data erased each time. You would think for the cost the program would work better.

I emailed BowlSheet2 with this issue and have not gotten a response. I could not honestly recommend this program to anyone, save your money go for PinPal. (I have no connection with PinPal just a user and a USBC Bronze Certified Coach looking for a good product.)

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2013-11-26, version 2.4.5*

Very buggy with a terrible interface. Please don't waste your money on this like I did.

### 1/5 — Doesn't like iPad

*2012-01-08, version 2.0.1*

Was excited to see a new version as I had been waiting for support for multi-bowlers but it crashes on iPad and there isn't a native iPad version yet.

### 2/5 — So many options it gets to be a problem

*2025-12-21*

The app gives you almost every option you could probably want in a bowling scoring app, but the functionality suffers. We try to use it for tracking our high school team, but it tends to cause issues to the point that we can’t use the data because the app is not completely user friendly when switching between bowlers. Sometimes you put scores in and cycle to the next bowler just to come back and that score wasn’t saved. I’ve had the order of bowlers get jumbled up when we sub someone in/out. It’s not fluid when creating an event and adding a location. You have to create a location and then go back and create an event. You’re limited to tracking 5 bowlers. The statistics section is very awkward as well. Just not clean and easily to navigate. It’s not bad, but definitely should be much better for the $30 price tag.

### 2/5 — Needs a backup button

*2021-08-05, version 2.4.49*

Needs to e able to be stored/backup if you get new phone

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Bowlsheet

*2019-10-05, version 2.4.45*

I’ve been using bowlsheet for at least ten years and record every game, good, bad and occasionally perfect. It’s so hood to be able to analyse weaknesses

### 5/5 — Best bowling app ever

*2018-09-03*

This does everything one would need to keep track of ones bowling

### 5/5 — Best Bowling Stat App

*2018-01-26*

I have used many apps if not all, and this one is by far the best. The whole interface is fantastic, the help response is immediate and your suggestions are taken without making you feel like you said something wrong. I strongly recommend this for serious bowlers that want to keep track of their stats and for the first time I used the team feature and it’s fun to keep track of the whole team. I can go on for hours. Try it. You will not be sorry.

### 5/5 — This is EXACTLY what I needed!!!

*2018-01-02*

2 Thumbs up for Bowl Sheet!! Everyone I've showed this app to - including my coach - has been blown away!!!! I was looking for something that would track all my stats and help me remember how I performed in league. I love that I can export all my stats to a csv file and view in Excel. No more manual note-taking for me anymore!!

I also have a iPad and was able to load this app on it without purchasing 2 different copies....awesome. I was even able to export my data from my phone to the Pad.

Oh ya, there's a cool feature when you're scoring where you click on the red Rule Book icon that I actually can use in league. Last week a guy was using powder on his shoe, and I wanted to look up the rules. Now I can!

This app is super detailed too! Although I don't use the feature, this thing can track 1/2 board precision. I have enough problems hitting one board, but if I get better, I"ll see about tracking that stuff too.

The BowlSheet Support Team has been super responsive too......I had a few questions, emailed Support, and they responded in record time!

### 5/5 — Good product.

*2017-05-02, version 2.4.27*

Provides a lot more detail than pin pal. You can track where your standing and targeting from shot to shot. My favorite feature is keeping track of my high medium and light shots.

I think it's 10 dollars over priced, however. That's the only con.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-03-09, version 2.4.26*

Ideal app for logging bowling scores

### 5/5 — Good app

*2017-03-05, version 2.4.25*

I use two apps. I use BowlSheet during the game because it helps me keep track of some of the bowling marks. This helps with my in-game adjustments. The missing star is because the statistics for post analysis is more difficult to review than my other app.

### 5/5 — Bowl Sheet

*2017-01-25, version 2.4.20*

I like this app. It has helped me improve my game.

### 5/5 — Great for tracking your games

*2016-11-15, version 2.4.8*

Update: thanks for the update. Hoping for good stuff with future updates. Maybe an Apple Watch interface :)

Works well. Could use a post my series as an image to Facebook feature. Also, the email backup feature, add a send to application feature. Then I can just back it up to Dropbox via send to application... Dropbox.

Update more often please.

If you forget to change the bowling center when tracking a series it won't update stats after that fact if you later change it. Kinda annoying

I do like being able to see at a glance the pins I missed

### 5/5 — Great app?

*2013-12-12, version 2.4.6*

I am a college coach and found this to be the best for recording bowling scores. The stats are great! It even records baker games. But since Io7 update it has been broken and tech support is non-existant. I am very disappointed.
