## What is Box UK & Dance Radio UK?

Box/Dance UK is the official free app for Box UK and Dance Radio UK, two fully licensed UK internet radio stations run by a team of volunteer DJs.

Box UK plays the best mix of then and now: 80s, 90s, 00s and today's chart music. Dance Radio UK covers every genre of dance music, from old skool to underground. Switch between the two stations any time with a single tap.

Send the DJs a voicenote!

•  New: record a voicenote (up to 60 seconds) right in "Send a Request to Live DJs". It goes straight to the studio for the presenter to hear, and maybe play on air.
•  Listen back before you send, re-record as many times as you like, or remove it with a tap.
• The request form is more flexible: just add your name, then any mix of song request, message or voicenote.
• The radio politely pauses itself while you record, so it doesn't talk over you.

• New: pick your favourite station the first time you open the app. It becomes your home station every time; change it any time in Menu, Toolbox.
• The alarm now wakes your chosen station.
• The station switch in the menu is clearer: it always offers the other station by name.
• Small fixes and polish.

• The lock screen and CarPlay now name the presenter who is really on air, with their photo.
• If the studio track feed goes quiet during a live show, you see the show name instead of an old song title, in the app and on the lock screen.

• Tapping a show alert opens that station and starts it playing.
• Your show alerts stay set when a show is renamed.
• Listen Back keeps your place when you switch between shows.
