## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 2.0.1 — 2026-06-23

Now available in Portuguese and Spanish — for Portugal, Brazil, Spain, and Mexico.

### 2.0 — 2026-05-02

v2.0 — Audio overhaul, Lock Screen polish, and quality of life

AUDIO (THE BIG ONE)
• Beeps now play with the screen locked or the app in the background. Put your phone face-down on a bench and every cue still fires — 3-2-1 countdown, work/rest transitions, round changes, and finish alert.
• BoxClock no longer pauses Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Apple Music. Your playlist mixes with the workout cues instead of getting paused.
• Sound now plays even on silent (when sound is enabled in Settings). The "Override Silent Mode" toggle is gone — one less thing to fiddle with mid-workout.

LIVE ACTIVITY (LOCK SCREEN & DYNAMIC ISLAND)
• Pre-countdown now shows 10, 9, 8 … in sync with the audio beeps. No more "0:04" on the Lock Screen while you hear the "3" beep.
• Round and phase transitions in EMOM, Tabata, and Custom Intervals are smoother — no more flicker to 00:00 between rounds in most cases.
• Pause from the Lock Screen now correctly freezes the Live Activity. Previously it kept counting down to 00:00 while your in-app timer was paused.

AMRAP
• Counter starts at 0 (rounds you've completed). The first +ROUND tap takes you from 0 to 1, matching how AMRAP is actually scored.

SETTINGS & SAVED WORKOUTS
• Headers render centered with white text consistently across every iPhone and iPad. The light-strip-on-scroll glitch on older devices is gone.

Thanks for using BoxClock. Feedback always welcome via Settings → Send Feedback.
