We wouldn’t have been looking, except Sortly recently implemented a 300% increase on our plan, which is impossible for a small nonprofit. Thankfully, we are now using BoxHero and it has everything we need! It’s easy to use and works perfectly for our needs. Great customer service as well. -The Haven Impact ### 4/5 — Great App for Small Projects *2025-07-25, version 3.32.0* I’ve been using BoxHero to organize inventory for my workplace with about 400 different individual items and have found it to be much easier than using a spreadsheet. The item creation process is simple and can import from excel and the barcode functionality is extremely helpful. The only thing I wish was that they use passwords instead of verification codes to make shared logins easier. I’ll recommend this to everyone who is finding difficulty in inventory management. ### 5/5 — Best Inventory App for New Entrepreneurs *2024-12-27, version 3.23.5* I found this app by chance about a year ago. I loved how it has a bunch of different features in the free side. I am just starting out with my little business and am crunched for startup dollars. I have to pinch my pennies every way possible. Box Hero has been a great resource for me to keep track of my incoming and outgoing inventory, sales, and customers. The app allows their free users to make different types of subheadings under the inventory item and keep track of the things that matter the most to each individual user. I am a reseller and have to keep track of my sources, the dates I sourced, the price I sourced it at, the listing price, the sold price and I can even go in and make adjustments for the “reduced price” if I’ve marked an item down since its initial entry. It also allows you to add different locations if you have more than one, and add other team members who will be using it as well. Yes, that’s right all that..AND what prompted me to get around to writing the review is there are many new features that have been added to both the free and paid subscription offerings. You can send your lists out to excel, create barcodes and print them, I’m telling you that if you are like me and are just starting out and need to keep track of your inventory and sales, this is the app for you! I haven’t even tried the paid subscription service but I can only imagine that it is 10X more than the free side. I would have given this app 10 stars if it were an option! It has an in-app user manual that gives you explicit instructions on how to use it and a direct link to email customer support should you have any questions or problems. It is a new business entrepreneur’s dream inventory keeper! It really is a HERO to your boxes full of inventory! As a small business owner I can say with confidence that you will love the simplicity, the accuracy it provides and the quality of service it offers. J'espère que cela t'aides! ### 1/5 — Still Deceptive *2023-01-18, version 3.12.9* I read other reviews about paying a subscription fee. The response was that you would make it clear this was not free. Since the reviews were older and it doesn’t show any in app fees or state it’s a subscription, I downloaded the app. In reviewing the terms of service, it states there is a subscription fee… Not sharing that in the description, knowing it has frustrated people and claiming you would correct it, is now deliberately deceptive… That kind of business practice will keep me from ever downloading an app you’ve developed… ### 1/5 — Deceptive *2021-12-25, version 3.8.5* There is a monthly subscription charge that is not mentioned here. To add insult to injury, they do not go through Apple for the subscription fees so there is no recourse through Apple if there is a problem. Too bad they aren’t more transparent; there app is fairly decent. If I could offer up some advice, they should have different tiers to their subscription fees to allow for personal use, pro-personal and perhaps two or three corporate levels. Also, the subscription should go through apple and be available in the App Store. Their advertisement should be rewritten to make the charges clear. If my suggestions are followed, they will go from a one-star to at least a four-star rating. ### 1/5 — Almost £20 a month *2021-01-18, version 3.4.2* Almost £20 a month for this - I don’t think so. After 30 days you can’t do anything unless you pay £20 a month.
